"So, what's the job?" Lana asks as the three continue their walk around the hangar. "Yeah, one of our associates ran afoul of some competitors and got himself caught." Lana didn't quite understand but let him continue. "So, I'm puttin' together a crew to spring him."

Mando analyzes what he was saying. This isn't a job he could just take by himself with Lana, but other people had to be brought into it. It seemed like the more Mando spoke to Ran the more he didn't want to follow through with this job.

"It's a five-person job. I got four. I'm sure Lana here won't get herself into too much trouble, she's cleared to go with." Ran smiles at Lana walking beside him.

"All I need is the ride, and you brought it." Lana grew curious at his words.

Was he using us for the ship?

Mando turned slightly to look at the crest. "The ship wasn't part of the deal." He spits out.

Mando and Ran moved slightly to lean on the railing overlooking the ship. Lana came to Mando's side slowly becoming suspicious of the man. "Well, the Crest is the only reason I let you back in here."

Lana saw the way Mando's helmet turned toward Ran, how his body language changed. Slightly, she saw Mando's fist clench in his leather gloves, she knew what he was feeling, apparently Ran did too.

"What's the look? Oh, seems like she's got it too." He gestures to Lana. Lana tries her best to stay calm in order to keep Mando calm. She tried to unclench her jaw to make herself looking less intimidating.

Ran steps closer to Mando. Lana feels her hand go slightly closer to her holster on her thigh. "Is that gratitude?" He almost taunts to Mando. Ran begins laughing slightly when Mando doesn't respond. "Uh-huh I think it is." He walks away from the two leaving them alone on the bridge.

Mando turns to face Lana leaning against the railing. "You said we could trust these people. What was that about?" Mando sighs in response.

"Just try to ignore it okay? I know things are a little weird with him, but we need this job." he continues. "You're untouchable Lana."

Walking through the hangar with Ran again, he tells the two they're gonna meet who they'd be working with. Lana braces herself to meet what bandits they'd be completing the mission with. They find their way to man who seemed unnecessarily irritated. "Mayfeld." Ran states pointing to him.

"Yeah?" he says turning around. The man looked almost unimpressed by their presence. He looked younger than Ran, he wore a long sleeve shirt which was covered by his shoulder holsters exposing his two blasters.

"This is Mando, the guy I was tellin' you about. We used to do jobs way back when. And Lana, they work together." Mayfeld looked cocky almost like Toro did. He walked closer to them, he was mostly looking at Mando rather than Lana.
