So will be posting another part tomorrow and I will work on an extra long one to make up for my absence. Thanks for being so patient for those of you who read my story! Now on to the update!
Niko knocked on the door of his new house, an old brown house that had originally been made in the 1940's, they learned from the previous owners. "The door is unlocked!" He heard if mother say from the other side of the house. Niko opened the door and was greeted by his little twin brothers. "NIKO!" They shouted, tackling him with a hug. "How was your first day of school, dear?" His mom asked from the door way. "Boys give him some space!" The twins smiled up at Niko and ran off into their room to go play. "I have some hot coca in the kitchen for you, dear." Niko's mom said. "Thank you, Mother." He said smiling, taking his boots off and setting them near the front door.
Niko moved towards the kitchen, following his mother. "So now that those two crazy kids are out of the way." His mom said smiling. "How was school?" Niko's smile faltered, remembering Bryan's gang that had trapped him between the rocks. "It was eventful," He said, "I met some...interesting characters." His mother tilted her head, setting a mug full of hot chocolate and a plate of cookies in front of him. "Why where you out so late? Did you make some new friends?" She asked, sitting across from him and taking a cookie off his plate. Niko nodded, sipping out of the steaming mug. "Yes'm , They took me to their 'hide out'" Niko lied, taking a cookie and dipping it in his mug the soft cookie crumbling and falling in his drink. Niko nibbled at his now soggy cookie. "It was these two rocks leaning together and it made a small cave, we sat and talked mostly." His mother nodded approvingly, Niko seeing no reason to tell her the truth seeing as they didn't really hurt him. "Do you have any homework, dear?" Niko shook his head and took another sip of his coca and his mother smiled. Niko's sister walked in, a book in her hand as she said hello to Niko and his mother. She sat next to Niko and smiled at him. "Was your day good?" She asked Niko nodded and stood, having finished his hot coca and cookies. "Can I go outside, Mom?" He asked, and his mother nodded and smiled. "Your So outdoorsy! You have fun out in the woods, alright?" His mother said. "Be safe." Niko nodded and grabbed his boots, headed to the back door and walked outside.
