Kelly stared out the window in his office, that gave him access to every person who decided to walk past the fire station. He saw Meredith with an unknown man.... and he did not like that.
That was his girl.
"my girl?"he thought to himself.
The lieutenant shook the thought away and stared down at his paperwork that he had to fill out, and give back to his boss by the end of his shift. "god." he lent back in his chair, and rubbed his forehead.
"hey." he looked up from under his hand to see Meredith standing in his door, standing there with her normal smile. "you okay?"she asked, and he gave her a small nod. "yeah, i'm okay." he lent forward again and gave the female a smile.
Meredith gave a hesitant nod but decided to leave Kelly to his own device, as she thought he needed some alone time. "Mouch brought in some food, you better hurry before it is all gone." the blonde gave a tight smile before leaving the lieutenant on his own.
The EMT placed her coat on her bed before heading to the lounge room, and instantly heading towards the food. "morning my loves." she joked as she piled the food onto her plate before throwing herself in a chair next to Matt.
"good morning." he chuckled as he watched her throw herself into a chair.
Meredith gave a closed smile to the male as she had food in her mouth, "this is amazing." she gulped down the food before sipping on her orange juice. "obviously he didn't cook it." Sylvie joked as she sat opposite her partner.
"maybe i did." Mouch defended himself.
Mouch's team mates stared at the older firefighter before he cracked, "okay.... Trudy cooked it." he muttered as everyone laughed at his defeat. "you bully me." he pointed at everyone who bullied him, and Meredith looked up when she heard footsteps, and she saw Kelly sitting next to Sylvie.
"Trudy is amazing." Otis stated as everyone agreed with the males statement. "Cindy is better!" Herrmann glared over at his friend before he cracked a friend. "can't lie there." Cruz smirked over at the look on his friends face.
Meredith finished her food as she looked over at the TV, and saw a soap opera on. "you watch some silly things." she stood up, throwing the paper plate in the bin and standing behind the sofa, gently leaning on it. "the football isn't on yet!" Otis defended their actions on the soap opera.
"i'm sure it isn't." she winked.
Kelly kept glancing over to the newest person in the family, as he didn't understand why he called Meredith his girl in his mind. "stupid." the females laugh broke the lieutenant from his thought as he saw her jokingly hit Otis around the head.
DING
"Squad three and Ambo 61! fire on Broadway road, male and female unconscious." the intercom system blurted out and all respected that was on the teams called, rushed out. "here!" Meredith looked up to see Matt throwing her jacket over to her.
