Lost in Temptation

Chapter 5

Betty POV:

I woke up the next morning in my bed with the worse headache that I've ever had. I quickly sat up on my bed and groaned noticing that Toni was laying beside me and Kevin was sleeping on the floor along with Archie. 

"Holy Shit" Is all I mutter not remembering anything that happened last night after I opened the door letting Archie inside, I quickly look down and see that I was still in the same robe as yesterday, mentally slapping myself for being so lazy to change into actual clothes. I got up quietly not trying to wake up any of the others and go straight into the bathroom to do my morning routine. I brush my teeth and plug in the straightener and waited for it to heat up when all of a sudden someone knocks on my door making me jump. I don't say anything thinking maybe it's Archie so I don't open right away then

"Bitch open the door or I'm peeing in your carpet" Say Toni making me roll my eyes and quickly open the door for her, she doesn't wait until I fully open the door since she pushes open the door almost knocking me over and rushing over to the toilet. 

"Eager?" I said to her in between chuckles

"Shut up" She says

I turn around to start doing my hair then I see her come over to where I'm at and washes her hands then pushes herself up onto the counter of my sink and looks at me. 

"What?" I ask her

"Are we not going to talk about what happened yesterday?" She asks me with a raised eyebrow.

"What happened yesterday?" I ask her playing dumb and continue doing my hair. 

"Don't act dumb Betty, You and Jones were literally naked yesterday and making out on your bed if we hadn't walked in god knows what you two would have done" She says to me in a low tone that I appreciate. 

I sigh and put down my straightener and look down not being able to look at her in the eyes for what I'm about to confess to her but Toni is my best friend she never needs me to tell her anything she automatically knows somehow. 

"Oh my god, you fucked him already didn't you?" She asks me with a shocked face "Betty does he know that you were a virgin?" She then asks not letting me answer the first question that she obviously knows the answer to. 

"Toni it's complicated" I manage to say to her

"Yeah no shit, the guy is with your sister Betty not that I care about their relationship but I know it's you who will end up hurt not her or him." She tells me not sugar coating anything which is one of the many reasons why I love her. 

"I made a mistake Toni" I tell her 

"Betty I know you very well and I know you wouldn't just sleep with him for the fuck of it" She tells me making me let out tears of pain and desperation not wanting to continue this conversation because all it does is remind me that Jughead will probably never want to be with me publicly I mean why would he? He has the most popular girl in school why I'm just me, basic nerdy Betty. 

Toni pulls herself off the counter and pulls me in for a hug rubbing my back  consoling me. 

After a few minutes I calm down and we pull away as I wipe away the tears resuming to do my hair.
