Lost in Temptation

Chapter 10

Narrator POV:

Betty and Jughead spent the next 3 days in bed either talking, laughing, or eating and if they weren't doing that then they would be lost in each other's bodies. Jughead learned that Betty was always insecure about herself which is why she always buried herself in her work, he also learned that she loves her sister Polly and is much more closer to her father than she is her mother but unfortunately since she was still in school, the judge gave her mother full custody. He seen Betty burst into tears when she mentioned that her mother would put her to the side while she worshiped Veronica and the ground she walked on but what shocked him the most was that Hiram would always reprimand Alice for the way she would treat Betty and would try his best to be there for her but unluckily for Betty, he wasn't always around and was exposed to Alice's verbal and emotional abuse. Jughead fumed in anger and once Betty was asleep he went outside of the trailer and began destroying everything in sight. 

How could anyone ever hurt his Betty that way? Betty deserved nothing but the best this fucked up world had to offer and he promised himself and her that he would do just that. 

In the same little talks that Betty and Jughead shared, Betty also learned some new things about  the Jughead Jones. She learned that his mother had up and left him taking his little sister with her leaving him behind with an alcoholic father who would physically abuse him. Thankfully F.P recovered and has been trying his best to make it up to Jughead, though at first it was hard they eventually got to where they wanted to be. Betty felt horrible for him and felt bad when she learned that he turned to the serpents the moment Veronica told him that Betty would never want a guy like him and that just made her hatred towards her half sister more intense. Why the hell would Veronica ever do such a thing? She thought she was her best friend at the time but now that she thinks of it, it's no wonder they aren't anymore, and she's glad. 

Narrator POV:

"So I know you're close to your dad and Polly but what about Toni and Kevin?" Jughead asks Betty snapping her out of her daze. Betty smiles wide as she sits down beside her Romeo on the old couch inside of the trailer, wearing only his flannel and panties. 

"I'm close with them too but you already knew about them which is why I told you about Polly and my dad" Betty says. 

Jughead looks over at his girl with love in his eyes. 

"What?" Betty asks through a nervous laugh noticing that he hasn't taken his eyes off of her and that made her feel somewhat nervous though she knows that Jughead thinks of her as the most beautiful girl in the world. 

"Nothing, I'm just surprised I was able to woo you" He tells her with sincerity, she feels her cheeks blush red and her heart leap at his words not believing herself that Jughead Jones actually likes her and has liked her for the past 4 years. "You can have any girl you want, why me?" Betty then asks him, curiosity hitting her out of no where.

"You're not just any girl." He responds "You're special Betty, any girl in our school wishes they can have half your beauty and brains that you possess and if anything I should be the one asking, why me?" He says leaving Betty breathless and speechless. 

Once Betty heard those beautiful words coming out of his mouth , she knew that what he says and what he does is all sincere, she cups his cheeks and pulls him in for a long wet kiss that has them ending up once again in his bed.
