Lost in Temptation

Chapter 6

Jughead POV:

Her sweet lips on mine feel like Heaven on earth, their so soft and tender and honestly there isn't any other place I'd rather be than here with Betty Cooper. 

"So this is why you dumped me?" We hear some girl say from across the diner making me and Betty pull apart and chuckle, we don't notice how lost in our own little world we are until Sweet Pea fake coughs to snaps us out of our little daze making me chuckle and Betty turn a bright red which makes her look adorable may I add.

"You're gorgeous" I whisper into Betty's ear making her shiver. 

"Jug we need to talk" She whispers back trying to hide her cute little blush. I don't say anything back, all I do is nod while Pop comes over to our booth with another waiter who seems to be new bringing over our plates of food and sets it down in front of us. 

I notice though that the new waiter is constantly looking over to my side and straight towards Betty who seems oblivious to the stares as she quickly digs into her food. 

"Lost something?" I ask not being able to contain my jealousy

"No man, I'm sorry but I couldn't help but notice how beautiful your girlfriend is" He admits shamelessly but before I could say anything Toni quickly interrupts me "Oh she isn't his girlfriend" She says to him causing him to grin widely as Betty looks over at us. 

"What?" She asks but nobody says anything instead the waiter starts walking away but before he's completely out of sight he winks at Betty and Betty widens her eyes and looks over at me quickly, not knowing what to say so instead she focuses back on her food. "Not hungry Jones?" Asks Sweet Pea through chuckles finding this whole situation humorous. I try to contain myself not wanting to cause a scene especially since Toni is right Betty is not my girl but I really wish she was. 

I shove the plate away from me and sigh "Lost my appetite I guess" I finally respond to Sweet Pea making them all look over at me in shock maybe because I'm always fucking eating. Go figure it only takes one guy to look at Betty the way I do to make me lose my appetite. 

"So Betty you seeing anyone?" Asks Fangs in a non-flirty way. 

"Uhh" Is all Betty's able to muster out while looking at me then back at Fangs maybe not knowing what to say especially since he just witnessed our steamy lip locking. 

"Yeah she is" I answer quickly making Toni look at me with a smirk on her face as if she were proud of my response. 

"Finally ditched that Lodge bitch huh Jones?" Asks Sweet Pea smugly making everyone laugh but Betty "Hey can we please not talk bad about her in front of me? She's still my sister" She says. One of the things that I love about Betty is that no matter how cruel a person is she still finds it within herself to defend them or find the good in them, she's honestly way out of my league and don't deserve her but I'm selfish and want her as mine, only mine. 

"He's just playing B" Says Toni extending her arm and grabbing Betty's hand and smiling, making Betty smile as well. 

"Anyway you coming to the party tonight Jones?" Asks Fangs out of the blew. 

"Not sure" I answer sincerely 

"Oh shit I almost forgot about tonight" Says Toni then looks over at Betty "B you and Kevin should come, the serpents are having a party tonight" she asks making me nervous. I really don't want Betty showing up to the one place where a lot of the girls I've slept with will be at. 

"Uhm I don't know, it's a Sunday and we have school tomorrow" Betty responds with a shrug, I would love for her to go but I don't want her finding out exactly how much of a man whore I am this early, especially now that I'm able to make her mine officially. "Come on B. Your mom isn't even here and we don't have to stay too late, just make an appearance, drink, dance a little then go home" Toni then says with a smile and nodding trying to convince Betty. Betty sighs in defeat and nods in agreement making my palms sweat as to how I'm going to keep Betty from all the girls at the bar especially Donna. 

"Can Archie come?" Betty then asks with a small smile, fuck me! now I'm definitely going.

"Of course." Toni responds with a smug smile looking over at me probably knowing exactly how I feel about him. 

"I hope that's ok with you Juggie?" Betty asks quietly making me smile "Will it make a difference if I say now?" I ask her.

"Of course, say the word and I won't invite him" She responds leaving me in shock. 

"Seriously? You'll stop talking to him just because I say so?" I then ask still in shock. I'm use to Veronica always asking but ignoring my answers and inviting them anyway.

"Well of course, I can see your face when his name pops up and I really don't wanna mess whatever this is we're working on right now" Betty says with a small nervous smile as she looks down. I place my hand on her chin and make her look up at me as I admire her every feature "Why do you insist on looking down?" I ask her 

She shrugs probably thinking of what to say. 

"Tell me please" I plead 

"Well I don't even know if you even want me as your girlfriend or am I just a booty call? I mean you were with Veronica who is stunning and well look at me" She states making me raise an eyebrow 

"I am looking at you and you're fucking gorgeous. Never doubt that Betty maybe even more beautiful than Veronica" I tell her making her scoff and roll her eyes as she pulls away from my grasp as she takes a bite out of her burger.

"Pea, Isn't Betty beautiful" I ask Sweet Pea who is blindsided by my question. 

"You sure are Betty and you're a nice girl something you're sister isn't so that's definitely a plus" He says making everyone nod in agreement. "Betty I like you way too much for so long but that's a story for another time so please trust me when I tell you that I really want this to work." I tell her making her smile reappear on her face. 

"So if you want you can invite Archie but please answer this first, did you and him ever do anything?" I ask her nervously. 

"No, I mean we were thinking about getting together but nothing happened aside from a hug and a kiss on the cheek" She tells me.

"Ok" Is all I respond putting my arm over her and kissing her temple.
