Chapter 31

Narrator POV:

Jughead gripped onto Betty's hand as if it were the last time, he's been waiting weeks for this moment but he's afraid that she'll soon tell him that it was a mistake. That kissing him shouldn't have happened and the only reason why she did it was because she was jealous. It scares him to think that she's fallen out of love with him because of all the mistakes he's done. 

Betty has always been special to him, he's liked her since freshmen year and has loved her since the moment he first tasted her lips and now she's carrying his baby which is why he's scared. He knows that Betty wouldn't intentionally hurt him since that's not who she is but at the same time, he fucked up and wouldn't blame her if she'd want revenge. Jughead glances over at Betty every chance he gets hoping he'd catch her looking at him but it didn't happen and that literally broke his heart since he couldn't go a minute without looking over at her. 

For the first time in forever, he's afraid that the girl he loves doesn't love him anymore. He's afraid that the one girl he's ever had real feelings for will eventually move on without him while he's stuck loving her. 

"Can we go to Pops?" Betty asks him, snapping him out of his thoughts, Jughead looks over at her and for the first time she's looking at him waiting for his response. He smiles at her "Of course but we're taking it home" He says to her "The doctors said you need to rest" 

"Oh come on, I've been resting can't we just bend the rules a little" She says to him with pleading his. 

"I'm sorry Betts but I'm not chancing it, not when it comes to yours and our baby's safety" He says to her as he makes a left to turn into the retro diner. Betty sighs in frustration but she knows he's right so she agrees. Jughead parks the car and turns to look her and smiles weakly as he see's her looking out the window "What do you want?" He asks her.

"Uhm, A grilled cheese with french fries extra seasoning and an order of onion rings on the side and a double chocolate shake" She says to him then turns back to look out the window leaving Jughead shocked at her order but then again she's pregnant and whatever she wants he'll give it to her without any questions, he's just glad that he's the one who can do it for her. 

Jughead gets out of the truck and walks into the diner and realizes that it isn't as packed as it usually is but he doesn't put too much thought into it since other thoughts are taking over his mind right now. 

"Well hello there Jughead" Pops says with a smile as he walks towards the counter. 

"Hey Pops, how are you?" He asks him as he walks closer to the old man. giving him a soft smile. 

"I'm good, how are you? How's Betty and the baby doing?" Pops asks him as he leans onto the counter. 

"Their good, she's in the truck right now. I just came to pick up some food and then take her home since the doctors want her home and resting" Jughead replies placing his hands into his jeans. Pops simply nods in understanding and takes Jugheads order. 

While Jughead was waiting for their food, Betty was in the truck just thinking about how things were about to change but she didn't care since her little baby would soon be in this world to love her no matter what. Betty is afraid to let Jughead in but she's willing to give it a try but she just doesn't know how to say the words, I mean she's forgiven Toni for what she dd so why not try and forgive Jughead? 

Betty bites her lip and begins to wonder if they could ever be what they once were, she couldn't put too much thought into since Jughead came back to the truck with their food, Betty looked over at Jughead and suddenly her craving for food changed now all she craved was him. Betty looked at Jughead making him look over at her and furrowed his eyebrows but forming a smile on his lips "What?" He asks her giving her his sexy smile. 

Betty roams her eyes down his body and without another word grabs his head and pulls him in for a kiss, a kiss that they both craved. Jughead quickly unbuckled her seat belt and pulled her onto him, with their lips still connected. Betty began to feel a burning sensation in her core and ran throughout her body and that made her begin grinding on him, feeling his hardness pressed against his zipper.

20 minutes pass by and their food has gone cold, Jughead has parked the truck in the back part of Pops where he's sure no one will interrupt them or catch them. Betty in only her top and panties where as Jughead is only in his boxers with Betty still on top of him, his lips kissing her all over her neck while Betty grinds on him, her slight baby bump putting a little bit more of a distance between them but they love it even more. Jughead runs his hands through her hair as his lips move from her neck to her chin and up to her lips. 

"You want me here?" Betty asks him as she pulls away from him causing him to whimper from the lack of contact.

"Whatever you want baby" He says to her breathlessly, eager to reconnect his lips onto hers or anywhere on her. 

Betty gives him a small smile and gets off his lap causing him to worry again, did he do something wrong? Does she think it's going to fast? Or did they go to far? but suddenly Betty takes her top off and lays her back on the seat, spreading her legs wide for him. Jughead doesn't need to be told twice and quickly discards his boxers and rips her panties off her and thrusts into her. He groans and feels like he's going to explode of pure happiness since he's finally in arms of his beloved as he begins to move, he feels some sort of movement kind of like a kick coming from Betty's stomach. 

"Uhm Jug, I think peanut knows what we're doing" She tells him with an awkward smile placed on her face. Jughead smiles down at his girl and pulls her in for a kiss then kisses down to her belly.
