Lost in Temptation

Chapter 32

Jughead POV:

"Are-Are those ki-kicks?" I stutter out feeling tears about to escape my eyes as I look down at Betty, running my hand smoothly over her belly. 

"Yeah, I think so. " Betty responds to me, giving me a small smile. Placing her hand over mine as we continue to feel our baby's little kicks, nothing in life can ever prepare you for something like this especially when you get the chance to experience it with the person you love. I've always known that my heart belonged to Betty Cooper, since the moment I seen her walking down the hallway at Riverdale High but never did I think i'd love her so much that my world revolved around her. Looking down at her right now, her big green eyes filled with happiness making my heart sink at just how beautiful she looks right now. 

"You're beautiful" I blurt out without any thought, but really when it came to her things just flowed easily and I love her for it.

"Thank you" She says with a blush creeping on her face as she looks down at her belly, I place a kiss on her forehead and pull her head close to my chest. I pull out of her and we re-dress since we felt kind of weird doing that after feeling our baby's little kicks. I drove her home and helped her inside feeling my heart break since I had to leave wishing she could just stay with me. 

I walk her inside feeling a little bit excited since I'm about to show her the reason why I was late to the hospital today. I covered her eyes with my hands as I helped her into her room, she laughed a bit in nervousness but I reassured her that I got her, I'd never let her fall, not again. 

We get to her room and I gently push open the door helping her get inside, my hands still placed over her eyes and as soon as I got her where i wanted her I took my hands off her eyes "Surprise" I said to her in a low voice giving her a smile. 

Her eyes widened and her smile grew as she walked over to the little crib I got her for our baby. 

"Jug!" She yells out in excitement, tears beginning to flow down her face. A hand covering her mouth but I can see the cute smile she has as she runs her hand over the crib. "How did you know that I wanted this one?" She asks me as she looks over at me. 

"Well I seen you looking at pictures of it the other day and I also remember you mentioning that some girl you follow on instagram had the crib you would like for our future kids" I say to her. She looks back to the crib then back at me biting her lip. "Thank you baby" She says to me, my heart jumping in joy at the word baby. 

"You're welcome gorgeous" I reply to her walking over to her and snaking my arms around her waist from behind, placing a kiss on her neck. 

"Jughead, I've been thinking" She says to me as she continues looking down at the crib. 

"About?" I respond to her quickly placing my chin over her shoulder. 

She stays silent for a few seconds letting out a breath "Why don't you move in with me?" She asks turning around to face me snaking her hands around my neck, her eyes boring into mine. 

"Seriously? No joke?" I ask her as a smile takes over my lips. 

"No joke baby, I want you here and it'll be easier for the both of us to be here once the baby is here and well my dad will be away a lot for business so I think we need a man around the house" She says to me giving me a kiss, a kiss I happily respond too. 

"So what do you say?" She asks as we pull away. 

"Hell yeah baby" I quickly reply giving her a smirk. I pick her up bridal style and take her to the bed, laying her down gently as and quickly lay beside her......

Narrator POV:

As time went on, Jughead and Betty worked on their relationship. Betty worked on her trust issues while Jughead worked on his jealously issues that he felt towards Betty and Archie, it was tough and there were fights but in the end their relationship grew stronger. 

Jughead always considered himself to be a tough guy, a guy who never showed his emotions but ever since he got with Betty that changed. Betty has been the only reason why he'll ever cry and why he'll always smile since she's the one who owns his heart but when the day of the gender reveal party came around and they popped that balloon and pink little confetti came out is when he knew that his little girl already had him wrapped around her tiny little finger. 

Slowly, both Betty and Jughead prepared themselves the best they could for the arrival of their little princess but one thing worried Jughead, since they got back together and began working on their relationship, Jughead has yet to hear Betty say the words "I Love you" to him while he's told her countless of times but he continues to push it to the back of his mind . 

When Betty was 7 months pregnant, her mother was  declared guilty of every single charge and was sentenced to 15 months in prison and 2 years parole and though Betty didn't wish anything for her mother, she felt like she could finally breathe since she wouldn't be around to do her any harm any longer. Things felt like they were falling into place and she couldn't be happier.
