Dipper was walking through the woods when he heard crying. He looked into the clearing, to see a girl in a yellow dress doubled over, sobbing. Dipper quietly walks up to her and comforts her by putting his hand on her back. She seemed to appreciate this. Dipper noticed she had snakes for hair, and had a snake tail. The girl turned to see who it was that had comforted her. When she saw Dipper, she instantly recognized him.
"You're the boy that came here yesterday."
"How'd you know?"
"We always know when a new person enters the town. It's in the newspaper."
"Interesting."
"I see you grew deer legs." Dipper frowned.
"Yeah, and I have no idea how to use them. I keep tripping over myself." The girl laughed. Despite her being part snake, Dipper thought she was pretty cute.
"So what's your name anyways deer boy?"
"Dipper Pines. Pleasure to meet you."
"Pacifica Northwest." They shook hands.
"Why were you crying?" Pacifica visibly stiffened.
"I-It's nothing, it doesn't really matter." She started rubbing her shoulder. Dipper noticed it had a massive bruise, but Dipper didn't question it.
"I'm sorry to bother you with it, my father is probably right. This is one of the reasons I have no friends."
"One of the reasons?" Dipper inquired.
"Well, my father says I have no friends because I'm too emotional, I don't respect him enough, and I've been ugly ever since I turned into a snake." She started sniffing about to cry. Dipper put a hand on her non-bruised shoulder.
"Don't say those things about yourself. It's ok to be emotional. If that's really how what he thinks, he doesn't deserve to be respected. Besides, you don't look that bad." Pacifica face blushed a light pink.
"Thanks." Dipper smiled a big goofy grin. Pacifica started to laugh at his dorkiness. Once she calmed down, Dipper looked at her hair.
"You know, they almost look alive." He went to poke one, when Pacifica said "Wait!" But it was already too late. The snake look Dipper in the eyes, and hypnotized him. Pacifica panicked trying to figure out what to do. Dipper just stood in front of her, acting like a chicken. She got an idea. She slapped Dipper as hard as she could. He instantly snapped out of it.
""What happened?"
"You poked a snake in my hair, and it didn't like that very much."
"Oh. Sorry. Thanks for, um, waking me up, I guess?"
"Yeah. No problem." They sat there in an awkward silence for a while. Neither of them wanted to look at each other, they were too embarrassed to speak.
"Well, I better get going, I don't want my Grunkle Stan mad at me." Something was nagging at Pacifica though. As Dipper got up to leave, Pacifica grabbed his arm. He looked down at her.
"Do you, maybe, want to, hang out with me on Friday?" Dipper looked at her surprised. But he nodded.
"Sure. I can see you then. Do you have phone number?" They exchanged phone numbers.
"Wow, this is an old phone number." Pacifica rolled her eyes.
"We don't exactly get phone shipments here, because people would get trapped in here." Dipper slapped his forehead.
"Of course. My bad." Pacifica laughed.
"Ok. See you around." Then she slithered away. Dipper put the number in his phone and walked back to the Shack.

Stan was berating the boy for coming back late. Dipper apologized and handed Stan the food. He tiredly walked up to the bathroom to take a shower. Mabel wasn't in the bathtub at the moment, she was watching tv, so he took a step in, only to remember, that he is half deer. He sighed, before beginning the long struggle to get into the shower. Once he finally got in, he turned on the shower, which was on the highest setting. Dipper screamed as he struggled to get out. He heard Stan slam the door open, only to start laughing at him. Dipper was not amused. He shooed Stan out of the door, and took a shower (after the long struggle to get back in).
Dipper walked into the living room to sit down to watch tv with Mabel, only to see they were watching "The Widdlest Wampire meets The Duchess." Dipper just rolled his eyes and decided to go to sleep. He yawned as he entered his room. But before he got a chance to sit down, he felt a change in the aura. He looked around the room. Nothing appeared to be different. He went to shut the light off, but the light turned into an eyeball.
"AHHHHHH!" The eyeball took a different shape. The eyeball turned into a human with a yellow suit and an eyepatch. It was smiling, but Dipper noticed it was a cruel smile. It's teeth were stained with blood.
"W-Who are you? And what d-do you want?!" Dipper was obviously scared. The figure laughed. It chilled Dipper to the bone. He knew there was something wrong here.
"I am Cipher. Kill Cipher. It's so very nice to meet you." Dipper shuddered. Kill Cipher? Creepy name.
"W-Well, I guess its nice to meet you, but, w-what d-do you w-want?"
"Don't you know? I make deals with humans. I am an all-seeing being. So I even know how to lift that curse of yours." Dipper did want to get rid of the curse. He hated having deer legs. But he remembered seeing a something carved into a tree in the forest. It said "Beware of the Ciphers. Don't make any deals with them!"
"What's the deal Cipher?" Dipper inquired.
"Well, all you need to do is bring me Preston Northwest. It's no big deal." Dipper realized this was Pacifica's Father. He knew he couldn't do that to Pacifica.
"No deal."
"Wow Pine Tree, I thought you were smarter than that. Do you even know why that Northwest girl had a giant bruise on her arm?" Dipper stiffened. A picture of a man slapping Pacifica seeped into his mind. "That's right Pine Tree. Abuse. But, I can see you already made up your mind. So, I'll take my leave." Then the floating figure landed on the ground, mumbled some gibberish, and disappeared.
Meanwhile, The image of his new friend Pacifica getting slapped flashed through his mind.
"What is Kill hiding?"
