After that awful event in the field. I found my way to the locker room, where I had a shower and changed back to my original clothing. After manoeuvring my way through the gossips and the unnecessary thick and suicidal perfumes. I stretch out my hand pulling open the door, pushing through it, then closing it with a loud 'bang'. I take deep breaths.

Fresh air, baby

"Hey" a deep voice with an accent says was I see a tall frame leaning against the wall beside the locker room, with a smirk plastered on his face."I've been waiting"

Damn, abort mission, abort

"Yeah, so what are you doing here" I mutter with a smile, trying to act like he didn't catch me off guard.

"Like I said, just waiting here" he says now crossing his legs.

"For whom?" I ask, even though I'm pretty sure I know the answer.

"Who else?" He says, still enjoying the position he put me in. I move away from the door now standing in front of him with my hands crossed.

"Who?" I raise my eyebrows.

"You" he states, "happy now?" He asks, with his brown eyes staring at me intently.

"You know, the act of a boy standing by the door of the girls' locker room isn't so proper for a guy who deems himself worthy of my time" I ignore his question with a smirk creeping unto my face and my heart pounding faster than it should.

Holy, calm down

I'm too young to die of hypertension.

...

"I guess there has to be an exception, when the guy's as hot as...I don't know...God's wrath?" His smirk widens and he shrugs. I turn a very beautiful shade of red.

How did he know.

When, why, how

I swear I said it my mind, it didn't slip out did it?

Oh my God, yes it did

No, it didn't

Naaa, it did,

Holy, was he even close to me when I said it IN MY MIND

I'm so confused, God please save me.

I decided to say something, before he felt like he had won

Not that it was a game or anything...

"You sound like some proud snobby girl I know with her head far up her ass" I sass around.

"Hot...but that's not why I came to talk with you, so shall we?" He asks untangling himself from his standing position. He brings forth his hands again, and I can't help but think,

This guy is stubborn

I ignore him again walking in front of him, he sighs and catches up with me. "So what did you want to talk about?" I ask him.

He falls in step with me and asks, "what happened during lunch?"

"I don't know what you're talking about"

"What do you mean by you don't know what I'm talking about"

"Because I don't know what you're talking about"

"Yeah?" he was getting frustrated and I wouldn't say I didn't love it because he made me break my promise of not speaking to him until he apologizes.

Let's just assume we were very lenient in the kingdom of Kystaline.

"I don't know what you're talking about" I state, stopping abruptly and facing him. He stops too looking at me.

"You do, because you are the one who has been avoiding me like a plague." He said "Beside the field, you walked out of me, remember?" Now I was just damn right glaring at him. "In the hospital you didn't even want to see my face. In the caf, today, you made a jab at me. During gym, you tried to ignore me and now you're being just snobby. Damnit." His face was red from the intake of breath that lasted throughout his speech.

I was pissed, and I felt insulted. Even though he made a point, I still felt like I had to do something. My breathing picked up as a result of the anger that spread through my vain and I just had to say something to feel satisfied, at least for now until I regret my decision. "Wait, what is it to you!" I yell at him, "I don't get you. We literally just found out who each other was, this Monday at school, because you happened to be a friend of my friend. We don't even know each other, we're not friends Liam, so stop acting like we've known each other for the longest time." I finish with my face red from anger and a raging heart. I turned away from him with my shoes making friction with the ground then stalked off to the car park.

I don't stop when I see Joey, calling out to me, asking where Liam was. I didn't even want to see his face and I didn't think anything would compel me to make him a friend of mine. So I kept walking. I didn't have any grudge against Joey. I was okay with him, but his best friend choices needed to be worked on.

I entered into my car, started it, put on the seat belt then drove off.

During the drive back home, my thoughts were all over the place.

Who did he think he was, calling me a snob

Though I was...no, that's not the point

What is though?, my subconscious asks.

I was just not happy about the fact that he went after she who shall not be spoken of. I just felt I should punish him for what he did, but I didn't know he would take it to heart. Now, I feel bad, what he said was true.

But for the sake of my ego, which actually doesn't get you anywhere,

I decided, until the need arises, we were not on speaking terms.

I got home, parked the car and raced to Kevin's room. As I reached his giant door. I knocked gently, hoping not to disturb him.

But that was actually what I wanted to do, so...

"Come in" I hear a muffled sound from the other side. I crack open his door, peeping inside."hey" he said laying side ways on his bed, "how was school" he says gesturing me to have a sit beside him. I take his offer walking up to him, taking my time,

Opposite of what I was doing just now.

I lay on his bed, "I'm fine, and school was fine" I said watching his actions as he shifts from one side to the other.

"But something went wrong, huh?" he says staring at me intently, when I give him an incredulous look.

"So I messed up big time..." I drawl out sighing. He smirks.

"Spit it out"
