"Hey!" Someone yelled at me as I looked up from my books. I smiled at Joey, waving at both  him and Liam who was standing beside him. Liam winked at me from where I was sitting in the stands and I laughed.

Joey turned back to Liam whispering something to him causing Liam to roll his eyes. They laughed, then Joey made his way to me smiling.  "So..."

He plopped down next to me, "so..." I repeated smiling at him.

"I couldn't help notice some things" he smiled cheekily.

I laughed, "really, and what could that be?"

"Well..."

"Joey, go straight to the point" I closed my books, already losing interest.

"Okay, this is harder than I thought. I'm not good at making conversations" he scratched the back of his head.

"Me neither" I chuckled, "but I could help out"

"Okay, go on"  he smiled.

I returned the smile, "actually I'd like to hear your opinion on um Jace, dating, yeah..." I bit my bottom lip.

He chuckled running his hand through his hair, "well, I didn't expect that"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever just answer it"

"Look, do whatever you want to do, it's your life..."

Wait for it

"But..."

He smiled, "but, in making decisions, you have to be aware of how it affects the people around you" I nodded at him, "If you like this guy, go with it but be careful. Go with it only if you're comfortable, go with it only if your heart says so"

Damn, my chest

"Okay now that's just some sappy shit" I laughed, "but I got it" he nodded as Liam came up as well.

"So what are we talking about?" He stood in front of us.

"Nothing bro" Joey said at the same time I said, "actually..."

Liam ignored Joey, when he said, "actually, what?"

"Nothing" I gave him a small smile. He narrowed his eyes at me.

"Don't you dare nothing me" he replied, taking my chin his hands raising it up to meet his eyes. I tried flickering my eyes down.

Key word there being 'tried'

"Krystal, look at me" I diverted my eyes again as he pursed his lips. There was silence, before a call from Kev caught our attention.

"Yo man, we're 'bout to start" Joey gave a thumbs up, considering Liam didn't move an inch.

"Alright, we'll see you later" Joey said as Liam hesitated, looking down at me, "bye" said Joey.

I nodded at them after Liam released my face. I turned my head away, wondering why he felt the need to know.

I packed my bags, already fed up with reading my Biology note. I grabbed my iPod, putting up my playlist. I put on my headset, standing up from the bench. I walked up to the track. It had been so long since I had ran last. The feel of the breeze against my skin, the tightness in my muscles, when I'm done. I missed the rush. I walked up to the starting point.

Thank God I wore track shoes.

You know people shouldn't question my taste,

See how it's really helping me out now
