She was belted to a seat and they were moving. Besides her Nella and on the other side Epy who were both still unconscious.

"Did you tell this son of yours what he is? We have been watching him day and night. We even knew the woman, its this one, right?" Stanley asked the rest. They nodded.

He had escaped the invasion though now he was in a wheelchair. Lost both legs after a bunker door had landed on his legs.

" We certainly have injected her with our serum in hopes they get a child who will be disease prone free. A child who even when impaired like me he can heal back. Get his legs back. We are hoping to see them marry. You can push for that then we will bring your son to you. The real one. It's a deal between us. Don't try to go behind our backs. I won't go round the bush, no. We are dropping you home. Don't come back until it's done. We don't care how long it takes. They are not the only experiments we got, they are spread out. But this one is a special case. Pressure your so called son to marry her. Everyone around you is a victim. If it doesn't happen soon, one by one people around you will get hurt. I won't mind meeting Nella pregnant or what do you call her? And have fun with her. "

This made Nana throw up. She just couldn't think of it. She tried to hit him but someone behind her pinned her back. Stanley looked at her in a wicked way and laughed.

" why did you try to kill Nella? " Nana asked him.

" US we rescued her. Those guys were from her ex boyfriend's favorite gambling casino. That wasn't us, we inform you before we take your head. But your son did a huge job carrying the bodies away. We all watched them scrubbing even the floor." he laughed as the others followed.

They stopped at the entrance of her estate where she had to put in her apartment code to be allowed in. She did it under the watchful eye of the men. They drove in carried Epy and Nella upstairs to their bedroom and left Nana calling out Nella and Epy.

"Dont bother. We will wake them once we feel we are out there safe." he had warned.

After a while they got up. They both looked at Nana in a weird way and then Epy sat up.

"Anything wrong Nana, why are you seated like that staring at us. It's so rude of you to walk in without knocking." he said

" ARE you alright?" she asked him.

"No we are not. How did we even get here? The last time I remember you were driving so fast." Nella said.

She lied to them that she had drove here and with the help of a friend brought them upstairs and gave them the injection to revive them.

For some unknown reason they bought the story and Nana was saved from the dilemma of explaining the whole thing. She had one problem though, their car was still out there in the ground. She had to call a breakdown guy who drove to the area and carried the car back to their place.

Nana sat on the counter lost in thought. She would meet her real son if Epy married Nella and got her pregnant. What if Nella is not ready to settle. She didn't look the type to do so before 30. She was a career woman. If she involved the police she do never see her son. She chewed on her nails.

Nana had thought Stanley had died in the explosion that had happened. Everyone had said so after finding a ring she had recognized to be his burnt next to body ashes. She had thought the nightmare had been over and sued those companies that had supplied items for the research. Then here it was, a reminder of her own baby whom she thought had been among the dead babies that were burnt each day.  She held her tummy as a tingling feeling came.

"Nana, can I have cereals?" Tommy asked just as he came in from school.

"Nop!" she almost shouted.

"Nana are you okay? You didn't pick me at school. Your Uber driver picked me. Also where is dad?"  he asked innocently.

"He is asleep. Let him rest. You can have your cereals though those are breakfast things. We have talked about this before, haven't we?" she approved him which made him smile and walk away leaving her in peace for a while to think.

She later decided she wanted to meet her son soon and would do anything to do so. She decided to check on Nella's health records on EPY'S laptop. Pulled out information on her fertility health and her family planning methods.

She thought herself wicked for a while but then decided she was doing what was expected in the scenario. Epy would understand and forgive her...
