IT WAS MIDNIGHT, the two girls made their way to the woods already starting the fire. "w-what do we do now?" madison asked scarcely. "we never talk about this again." haley answered. "if they start asking questions, just say he was a drunk and a drug addict. you woke up and he was gone." haley explained. "understand?" haley asked. "y-yeah. i got it." madison nodded. the sound of a twig breaking caused the two girls to turn. haley quickly grabbed her bat with nails sticking from it as she stood in front of madison. "who's there?" haley spat. "guys! it's just me. jesus." alex chuckled as he came out of the darkness causing them to sigh. "what are you doing here?" haley asked. "i don't know I got bored, saw this decided to come check it out." alex shrugged.

"what're you guys doing?" alex asked as he looked at the huge fire behind them. "n-nothing." madison said as she went by haley's side covering the body as it burned. "really? cause it looks like you're hiding a dead body." alex laughed and the girls looked at each other wide eyed. "okay, first off. what are you doing in the woods at 12 am?" haley asked trying to change the subject.

"i should be asking you the same thing." alex smiled. "why the weird faces? sure im a disabled foster kid, what about it?" alex laughed causing them to look at him in shock. "i-im just messing with you. jesus, you guys take everything so seriously." alex laughed as he cleared the silence. "dude seriously what are you doing here?" haley asked getting straight to the point. "i got chased by grayson and jonathan again." alex said disappointingly. "holy shit, are you okay?" haley asked worriedly as she hugged him. "yeah. kinda got used to getting punched in the face. now it's just like falling off your bike but you get hit by a car five times. in the guts." alex said sarcastically.

"w-we should get out of here." madison said as she looked back at the ashes of her dead father. "yeah, ill put the fire out. you guys can wait for me near the farm house on Mirkwood." haley said. "are you gonna be okay by yourself?" madison asked. "yeah, ill be fine." haley said giving madison a reassuring smile and a small wink afterwards. "be safe." alex said. "yeah, yeah. whatever. see you in five." haley smiled. alex and madison safely made their way out of the woods and waited near the farm house patiently before they heard a loud scream. madison quickly ran knowing it was haley's voice. "haley! HALEY?!" madison screamed. "HALEY?! WHERE ARE YOU?!" madison screamed as she ran through the woods.

she quickly stopped as she saw the fire put out and her bat laying on the floor. "shit." madison muttered underneath her breath. "w-what's going on?! where's haley?!" alex panicked. "just listen to me. we need to leave. now." madison spat. "where's haley?!" alex shouted. "that's what im gonna find out. now come on." madison spat. "and stay close. I can keep you safe." madison said.

"is that what you told haley?" alex spat. "do you wanna find haley or not?" madison spat. "i care about her, just as much as you do. now shut up and follow me." madison spat leaving alex in shock.

madison quickly turned on her stereo and put on her blindfold. "what are you doing?" alex asked. "be quiet." madison said as she was using her powers to search for haley. "madison." haley's voice was calling out to her. "don't do it it's a trap. get out now!" haley screamed. "I-im gonna find you haley. we're gonna save you." madison cried. "he knows you're here. he knows where you are get out!" haley cried. "run. RUN!" haley screamed. madison quickly pulled off her blindfold and wiped off her bloody nose.

"we gotta go now." madison said as she stood up. "what do you mean? we just got here." alex said. "now!" madison exclaimed. "it's not safe." madison said grabbing his arm. "ow! ow! im disabled jesus!" alex groaned in pain. "you stay here. he wants me. not you." madison sighed. "so you want me to do nothing?!" alex exclaimed. "you're disabled remember?!" madison shouted as she ran down the stairs.

madison quickly ran outside the house looking for miles. as soon as she saw him she used her powers to choke him. "where is she?!" madison exclaimed. "you'll never know if you kill me." miles said as he struggled to breathe. "take me instead." madison sighed as she released his throat. "let haley go. a-and leave her, and her friends and family alone." madison offered. "i-i won't run. not this time." madison said softly. miles quickly grabbed his bat knocking her out with a single hit.

he carried her small body around his shoulder bringing her back to his house. madison opened her eyes slowly as she looked around the room as she was tied back to the chair. she looked around realizing haley wasn't in the same room she was making her skeptical. madison saw the door open as miles came in unarmed. madison knew she could easily escape with the use of her powers, but in this situation she had to be careful about it. "where is she?" madison asked. "like I'd tell." miles laughed. "we had a deal." madison spat. "i can tell you this..." miles started as he circled around her.

"she's alive." miles smirked. "but..." miles added. "but what?!" madison exclaimed. "not for long." miles said. "don't hurt her. please." madison said. "this is what you get for getting involved with me, spying on me, and threatening to tell flora." miles spat. "you are going to rot and never ever see the light of say again. ill make sure of it." miles smirked.

"and if you try using your powers on me, ill make sure haley is dead before you get to her." miles said. "and your little disabled friend. so make wise decisions about what you do." miles spat. madison gave him a death glare as he was so close to her face close enough for a kiss. she quickly spat in his face angrily causing him to grab a hold of her neck. "you bitch." miles exclaimed. "what are you gonna kill me?" madison spat. "do it. i fucking dare you." madison spat angrily. miles quickly removed his hand from her throat backing away from her. do it kill her. "I-i can't. i can't do it." miles panicked. madison looked at him weirdly as she noticed the way he was acting.

now is your chance. KILL HER! "I-i can't a-and i won't." miles stuttered. the voice in miles's head caused him to grab the knife stabbing it into his knee. do it, or the next place will be is your heart. "it's not my fault. madison it's not my fault." miles sobbed as he collapsed on the floor. "w-what's not your fault miles?" madison asked. "i-i didn't k-kill my parents." miles sobbed. "it's not my fault madison, please believe me." miles cried.

"he made me do it." miles sobbed as his knee bled on the floor. madison quickly untied the ropes off her hand getting up to get a better look at miles. "w-who's he?" madison asked. "i-i don't know. I-it's a big shadow. he's making me do bad things. make it stop!" miles sobbed.
"please.." miles begged.
