MADISON PUT ON HER blindfold on as the stereo static played around the room, wiping the blood coming down her nose. "d-does it always take this long?" miles asked worriedly as he paced around the living room as madison was in the other. "no, but im sure she's fine." haley said taking notice of how worried miles was. "how come she hasn't found him yet?" miles asked impatiently. "i don't know. but i trust that madison can do this." haley said softly. "a-are you sure she's gonna be okay after this?" miles asked her anxiously. "i think so." haley said.
"YOU THINK SO?! WHAT IF SHE DIES OR SOMETHING?!" miles exclaimed causing madison to swing the door open. "HEY!" madison exclaimed as she lost her focus. "s-sorry." miles said softly. "d-did you find him?" haley asked. "no, but i think i can lead him to us." madison said. madison made her way pass miles as she set up the stereo and put on her blindfold.
"wait." miles stopped her as he bent down to talk to her. "you know you don't have to do this." miles whispered to her. "i promised that i'll end all of this." madison said softly. "i don't break my promises." madison said as she was about to put on her blindfold back on before he stopped her again. "j-just be careful." miles said and she nodded giving him a sad smile before putting on her blindfold. miles nervously bit his nails as he sat by her just in case anything happened.
madison began to whimper in fear as she was searching for the monster. "w-what's going on?" miles asked worriedly. "I-i don't know." haley said as she was worried also. "i'm getting her out of there." miles spat as he was about to take off her blindfold before madison stopped him grabbing his wrist. "no." madison said softly. "i'm o-okay." madison lied. "d-do you see anything?" alex asked. "n-no it's cold and dark." madison muttered. "cold and dark? where is that?" haley asked. madison began screaming in pain as her arms and gains became black.
"w-what's happening to her?!" haley shouted. "i-i don't know!" miles exclaimed. miles quickly pulled off her blindfold hoping it would stop what ever was happening to her. madison's eyes turned white as she screamed in more pain. "IT HURTS!" madison screamed in pain. "what hurts?!" miles asked as he pulled her into a hug. "IT BURNS!" madison cried. "MAKE IT STOP!" madison cried. "i-i don't know how!" miles exclaimed. madison hugged him tightly calming down as the unknown pain stopped. she sobbed in miles' arms as he comforted her softly.

"there's gotta be some other way to kill this thing." miles said as he paced around the room. "madison is the only one who can stop it." alex said. "we can't let her die like this!" miles exclaimed. "she's not some fucking machine!" miles argued. "you've seen what happened to her. we can't let that happen again." miles said. "we can burn the shit out of it." haley suggested. "w-what attracts it?" alex asked miles. "blood." miles answered. "that's it!" alex exclaimed. "brimborne steelworks was the place he would take you to. all we gotta do is get blood and lead a trail here." alex said.
"and where are we going to get all the blood?" miles asked. "i never thought that you would ever ask that question." alex said surprised as the psychotic freak didn't know where to get blood. "i know where to go." haley said. "you guys go. i'll stay here incase anything happens." miles said. "we'll be back." haley said as she grabbed alex's hand dragging him out.
miles sighed to himself as he slowly made his way into the room where madison was resting. he quietly sat on the edge of the bed, softly placing a strand of hair away from her face. "you are so beautiful." miles muttered to himself. "how could i hurt such a thing?" miles sighed as he lightly touched her cheek with his finger. madison's eyes fluttered as she woke up. "w-what happened?" madison panicked as she sat up quickly. "nothing. you're okay." miles said softly. "we found another way to kill it." miles said reassuringly. "what?" she said confused.
"we're gonna end this. a-and everything will be okay." miles muttered as he held her hand. "you're not gonna die." miles muttered.

"do you like miles?" alex asked haley. "what?" haley spat. "of course not! why would i like someone who tried to kill me?" haley spat. "well, it wasn't his fault he tried to kill me." haley mumbled as she swung her bat. "you think he likes madison?" alex asked her. "who wouldn't like her?" haley smiled as she thought about her. "she's the coolest girl i've ever met." haley smiled. "she has superpowers and she's amazing." haley said. "yeah? well i like someone." alex smiled. "lemme guess. annie parker." haley smiled causing alex to laugh.
"too weird." alex chuckled. "lana foster." haley said. "ew, no. she's so-ew." alex said causing haley to laugh. "well? who do you like?" haley asked. "y-you're gonna think i'm weird or a freak." alex laughed nervously. "this girl is absolutely amazing." alex smiled as he looked at haley. "she has beautiful red hair, and these green-ish blue eyes that i can stare into forever." alex said as he described haley causing haley to stop in her tracks.
"and she's the coolest girl i've ever met. and she's helping fight this shadow monster demon thing." alex smiled. "and she doesn't need superpowers for that." alex said. the silence filled the two as haley was thinking cautiously about what she was going to say. "a-alex." haley said softly. "yes?" alex replied. "i-i like madison." haley admitted leaving alex in shock.
"y-you like m-madison?" alex asked in shock. "a-and i know she doesn't like me back. but when I was with her, it felt so special to me. no matter what we did." haley said as a tear slipped out of her eye. "and i know she has feelings for miles." haley said softly. "h-how do you know that?" alex asked. "because the way she looks at him is the way i look at her." haley sighed. "o-oh" was all alex could say. "yeah. oh." haley said. "jesus, what's wrong with me." haley chuckled as she wiped away her tears.
"i just don't want to ruin anything between us and madison." haley said. "j-just please don't tell her." haley begged. "i-i won't." alex nodded. "a-and nothing's ruined between us." alex started causing haley to look up. "you're my best friend. i'm not gonna leave you like that. not after everything we've been through." alex smiled. "really?" haley mumbled. "yeah." alex smiled. "forever and always?" haley smiled. "forever and always." alex repeated as he held her hand.
