THE TWO BOYS CHEERED as they played dig dug beating the highest score ever. "750,000 points?! that's awesome!" will cheered. "it takes patience buddy." alex smiled proudly. "hey, do you smell that?" will asked as he looked around. "smell what?" alex asked as he followed behind will. "it smells like something died." will said in disgust. "let's check in the back." alex said as he led will to a back door opening it groaning in disgust as they sat diseased rats. "what the hell is that?!" will exclaimed. "it looks like some kind of diseased rat." alex said as he looked down at it covering his mouth with his shirt.
"you guys shouldn't be in here." keith the guy who worked for the arcade said. "dude you have diseased rats in here." alex said. "yeah, i know." keith said causally as he ate a bag of cheetos. "i think my moms friend talked about diseased rats. she said something about it eating her fertilizer." will said. "why would rats be eating fertilizer?" alex asked causing will to shrug.

"are you sure you wanna go back?" haley asked sydney as they were at Starcourt mall. "yeah. i'm sure." sydney said softly. "alright. i know a way in." haley said leading her through the back. "i should've known this a long time ago." sydney chuckled as she walked in through the back door. "do you see anything?" haley asked as they walked down the hall. "no." sydney whispered. "what are you two doing here?" a voice said causing the girls to turn seeing a guy in a sailor uniform causing haley to sigh.
"hi, steve." haley sighed. "what are you doing?" steve asked looking at them weirdly. "nothing." sydney said quickly. "we just took a wrong turn." haley stuttered. "uh, what's in here exactly?" sydney asked. "just shipments for more ice cream and stuff." steve shrugged. "are you sure?" haley asked. "uh, yeah. i'm pretty sure." steve said showing her a box full of tubs of ice cream. "oh." haley said.
"yeah." steve nodded. "wait.." steve started. "shouldn't you be with my sister?" steve asked. "uh, no she's busy." haley said nervously. "with who? unless.." steve said realizing who it was running off putting the box away before running out a door. "i guess the labs gone." haley concluded. sydney shook her head in disbelief. "I-it doesn't make any sense." sydney sighed. "well obviously they're not here." haley said. "yeah. Starcourt would be too obvious." sydney said in thought. "wait..so you're saying that they might be somewhere else?" haley asked.
"yeah." sydney huffed. "but where?" haley asked. "that's what we're going to find out." sydney said scarcely.

steve was currently outside of madison's room hearing giggling leaving him in confusion. through the small creek of the door he saw madison and miles making out. "HEY!" steve exclaimed causing madison to slam the door shut with her powers. "maddie! open this door! don't do that mind shit or i'll kick your ass!" steve exclaimed as he was banging on the door. steve fell to the floor as the door opened as the two were peacefully 3 inches apart looking at steve casually. he quickly stood up making his way towards the two giving miles a death stare.
"what?" miles spat. "a-are you two like a thing now? is that what this is?" steve asked. "it's pretty obvious what's going on here dingus." miles spat. "what do you want steve?" madison sighed. "three inches." steve said causing miles to stand up face to face with him. "three inches what?" miles said annoyingly. "keep the door open three inches. and keep away from her three inches." steve gritted through his teeth.
"or what?" miles spat. "you won't be able to see her." steve said causing madison's eyes to open widely. "fine." miles sighed. "i'm outta here. i have to go check up on flora." miles gritted through his teeth pushing past steve as he left madison's room. "why aren't you outside hanging out with haley and your other loser friends?" steve asked. "i can't." madison said. "what? why?" steve asked. "it's not safe." madison said. "is someone trying to take you?" steve asked worriedly. "the bad men steve... they're trying to take me." madison said softly leaving steve in worry.
madison soon explained what she meant by that, getting into more detail into what happened months before this. "that's why you don't go out?" steve asked causing her to nod. "you know i care about you right?" steve said causing her to smile. "yeah, i know." madison nodded. "stay safe. and be aware of your surroundings." steve said giving her a kiss on the head.
"and door open three inches you lil shit." steve spat. "okay! i got it!" madison exclaimed. steve softly closed the door sighing in relief.
meanwhile, miles went to go check on flora. "flora? i'm home!" miles called out as he closed the front door behind him. "flora?" miles called out. miles looked around noticing she didn't run down to hug like usual. he quickly made his way upstairs seeing flora sitting on her bed staring blankly at the wall. "flora? w-what are you doing?" miles asked worriedly. she slowly turned her head towards him with a blank expression on her face. "just thinking." flora said with no emotion. "about what?" miles asked taking a seat next to her.
she began to giggle softly before speaking. "it's a secret." flora giggled. "why can't you tell me?" miles asked with a smile playing along. "because he doesn't want me too." flora said leaving miles in worry. "who's he?" miles asked as she stayed quiet. miles softly touched her hand noticing it was freezing cold. "jesus flora! you're freezing!" miles exclaimed.
"he likes it cold." flora responded blankly.

"will, when are you going to?" alex said to will. "when am i going to what?" will asked in confusion. "when are you going to shut the fuck up?" alex joked causing will to shove him to the side. "shut up." will laughed. "i can't believe you fell for that." alex laughed. "haha very funny." will said as he rolled his eyes. "you know, i used to have this old party..." will started. "we've been playing together since kindergarten." will smiled. "until, i moved away." will sighed. "they grew up, got girlfriends and left me behind. and i guess i'm not ready to grow up yet." will said softly as alex walked beside him.
"i guess i kinda feel he same way too." alex started. "i had a huge crush on my best friend haley until i realized she's into girls and i'm not her type." alex sighed. "all of my friends are doing their own thing and i'm just here driving myself crazy." alex said. "then, we'll go crazy together." will smiled. "right?" will smiled. "yeah." alex smiled.
