The porch creaked as Remus Sirius, and the older man walked on it to get to the pale white coloured wooden door. Remus placed his hand on the door handle as he pushed it open. Sirius walked in, examining every detail of the average sized house. The walls were a mustard type of yellow, the type of yellow that you'd use for an aesthetic theme. Right at the entrance was a coat hanger, where you'd hang your coats and umbrellas when a guest was over. The floor had a marble detail with heaps of family pictures, mainly of Remus with a stairs with a nice scarlet red colour as a carpet.

The boys took their shoes off, "Come on, lets head to the kitchen. I'm sure Mum has dinner prepared for us." Remus motioned Sirius to follow him, so he did. As they walked in, Sirius couldn't help but have his mouth slightly open. The Kitchen was really full of life and colour, there was multiple small plants placed about on the windowsill, dinner table, and on the bookshelf that had a astronomic variety of muggle books. The walls were the same colour as the foyer was and he smelt a strong smell of Lasagna that was nicely set on the table.

"Hello love!" Hope Lupin said cheerfully to her son, seeing her eyes brighten at the sight of her son. She went over to him in a quick pace, engulfing him into a hug.

"I missed you Remus." She smiled, giving him a peck on the cheek. Remus smiled back, returning the embrace, "Nice to see you too, Mum."

Sirius couldn't help but notice the resemblance that Remus and his mother had. They both shared that rare but amazing colour of Blonde, that instantly reminded you of sand. Their rare honey eye colour that reminded of eyes of a wolf. Last but not least, that same warm smile that was so warm and contagious that you couldn't help but smile back just as wide.

Hope looked over at Sirius, "You didn't tell me you were bringing home a friend, Remus." She smiled. Sirius smiled back. "If i'm honest Mum, I wasn't expecting a friend over this Summer but, he's saving some difficulties at home and he needed some place to stay. Dad said that it was completely fine that he stayed, It's fine with you right?" Remus asked suddenly worried about his mother's opinion on the situation.

"Of course he can! what's your name dear?" She asked walking over to Sirius. "U-um Sirius Black." He slightly stumbled over his words, embarrassed about his surname.

Remus couldn't help but notice the look that both of his parents were sharing.

"Don't worry! He's not like his family whatsoever. Sirius is in fact a Gryffindor." Lyall was surprised by this new information. "A Gryffindor? that's a surprise!" The older Lupin was relieved to hear that there was at least one decent Black of the family.

A few minutes had passed and they were all seated at the table eating the dinner that Hope had made.

"So, Sirius, Do you have any siblings?" He asked, taking a bite of his Lasagna. Sirius nodded, "Yes, I have a younger brother named Regulus. We were very close as we grew up, But since I've been sorted into Gryffindor, he's had nothing to do with me." He left out the part that Walburga and Orion had told him to keep away from the disgrace.

Lyall nodded, "Is he?...." He trailed off. "No, He's a Slytherin." He answered.

There was no conversation after that.

The two boys had made their way up to Remus' bedroom that was surprisingly big. The room was placed upstairs with a white wooden door with a Black silvery door handle. Remus' Walls had the galaxy painted all over them, even on his ceiling, with all the stars labelled. He wondered if Remus had painted it or his mother did. He had a double bed with the Gryffindor crest on the duvet and on his pillow cases. In front of his medium sized window was a desk, with his quill nicely placed in his ink pot with some parchment neatly set in a pile. Remus' whole room was neat now looking at it. Back at Hogwarts, on Remus' side of the Dormitory, It was nice and tidy compared to the other boy's living space. Sirius never realised how much he missed Hogwarts and how grateful he was to have an option to stay at Remus'.

He's staying at Remus'.

"Hey Remus?" The sandy-haired boy looked up from his book. "hm?" he hummed, "Can I use some of your parchment?" He asked, and the other boy nodded. He walked over and sat down in the comfortable plush office chair. He grabbed a blank piece of Parchment and dipped the quill in the ink and set off to write.

To James,

Hello! It's me, Sirius. I just came here (Not really there) to write and inform you not to send letters to Number 12 Grimmauld place, because i'm not there. You're probably panicking right now, and I apologise for nearly giving you a bloody heart attack but I'm staying with Remus for the Summer. As soon as we departed, my ruddy cow of my so called 'Parents' decided that it'd be funny to desert me and leave me at Platform 9 3/4. Luckily Remus was still there and agreed to taking me in and let me stay at his house. Anyways, enough of  my shitty problems. How is your Summer going so far? Done anything fun?  I really miss you mate, and it's only been not even a day! Hopefully we can meet at Diagon Alley when we head to go and buy our school supplies. I hope your Summer is going to be a hopefully remembered one.

From you're most Sexiest beast,

S.B

He folded his letter into a neat square and put it into one of the many envelopes that Remus had spare and attached it to the leg of his Owl, Adolf.

"Send this to James Potter." He opened the window and the Owl set off.

In that moment Hope Lupin walked in. "Hello boys." She smiled which both boys returned. "Sirius are you sharing a bed with Remus or do you want your own bed?" She asked. Sirius looked over at his best friend, he shrugged showing that he didn't mind. "I'll see how I go with Remus." He smirked. Remus snorted. "We'll be fine, Mum." He chuckled.

A few hours had passed, majority of it being used to force Sirius to do his homework by Remus. They got half of it done when Sirius had said that he'd had enough which Remus was okay with because he'd done a brilliant job. Both boys got changed into their pajama's and hopped into the comfy bed.

"Have you ever thought about your sexuality?" Remus asked, turning his head to face Sirius. Sirius followed his actions now looking back at him, "No....I haven't really. I guess I've just had more important things to worry about. Why you ask?" Sirius didn't know why his friend had brought up the conversation.

"I dunno...I just, heard something." Remus was worried that he'd pushed too far. Sirius sat up, eager to know. "What did you hear?" Remus sighed, "I heard From Lily that she walked into you and James snogging." He looked at him, breaking into fits of laughter. "Why the bloody hell would I kiss James? I'm not gay. Evans has gone out of her mind!" he continued to laugh until it hurt. Remus chuckled too, "Yeah you're right, maybe she was hallucinating."

He turned the other way. "Night Sirius." He heard a mumbled "Night Remus."

He knew for a fact that Lily wasn't hallucinating, because he saw it too.
