The fire ferrets team were practising in the gym the ball was then thrown at Korra
"What's the big idea with making me train this early in the morning, the morning is evil," She whispered throwing the ball at Bolin who spoke,
"We're the rookies so we get the worst gym time slots," he said throwing it at Mako
"And your the rookiest of us all we gotta get you up to speed if we wanna survive the tournament, deal with it," The tall boy threw the ball at Korra rather roughly causing her to get annoyed with him
"You deal with it," She yelled as she threw the ball right into his stomach throwing him back he rolled a bit then landed on his back, the earthbender girl laughs her head off at what Korra just did.
"That's the best thing I've seen all day and I've been awake for 10 minutes!" She laughs more as a man walks through the door she stops laughing and stares annoyed at the man that just walked through.
"There are my hardworking little street urchins," He walks up to the three team members, "it's an honour to finally meet you avatar," he said to the brown-haired girl
"And you are?" She questions the man he takes his hat off and bows slightly
"Butakha, I run this whole pro-bending shebang," she walks off as the man reaches into his coat and grabs out some money. "Here's your winnings from the last match, Ah ah ah first you owe me for the avatars new gear, gym and equipment rentals from last month, rent on your apartment and a personal loan for groceries," The man takes the money one by one from Mako's hand he looks annoyedly at Bolin for the last part.
"What I'm a growing boy," he said rubbing his stomach
"Oh and one more small item of business the Fire Ferrets must enter in 30,000 yuans for the championship pot," He spoke
"30,000 yuans?!" Bolin yells in disbelief
"Sorry kids you got till the end of the week to come up with the dough otherwise you're out of the tournament," he says and walks off, Bolin and Mako both looking disappointed, the avatar walked up next to them.
"You wouldn't happen to have a secret avatar bank account overflowing with gold would you," he looks at her, she showed them her pockets
"I've got nothing, I've never really needed money at I've always had people taking care of me," she states, this causes the other girl in the room to scoff
