Olivia sat up, rubbing her eyes to see her computer ahead of her. Usually on a Tuesday morning, she would see the YouTube screen saying that her video was public. But she had a different sight, the editing software still open. She put her glasses on and turned to Jeff, him fast asleep. After all, it was only 7. She'd gotten used to waking up so early due to Grace's body clock. She'd gotten out of bed and walked to the kitchen, preparing to make breakfast.
Grace had an easy breakfast; just porridge and cut up strawberries. But Jeff was always switching between cereal and just coffee. When making Grace's porridge, she'd found a chance to go through her phone. And all was well and peaceful, until she'd gotten onto Twitter.
'@user: where is liv's video ???'
'@user: is something wrong? she's never missed an upload.'
'@user: liv has disappeared?'
She sighed and started typing.
'@oliviawittek: guys i haven't disappeared. i fell asleep and forgot to upload. having a kid is hard work, please forgive me.'
'@oliviawittek: also upload is later!'
Now that her fans were settled, she'd woken Jeff and Grace up.
The porridge was ready, the omelettes were ready, and everyone was eating breakfast at the island. Grace was in her chair, shovelling heavy spoons of porridge down her mouth. And both Jeff and Olivia were talking to each other and their plans for the day, occasionally giggling at Grace's funny faces.
"Todd's gonna be here soon, I'm gonna get ready." Jeff spoke, kissing both Olivia and Grace's heads. Jeff was on his, almost, daily hikes with Todd. And whilst Olivia would sit with Grace, they'd bring back some smoothies for the two of them.
Olivia had cleaned up Grace's bowl, along with her own and Jeff's before getting herself and Grace dressed. Just as she had finished washing up, Todd had arrived. Opening the door, she greeted him with a hug and let him in. He began entertaining Grace, just as Jeff had entered the living room. Both boys left, leaving Olivia and her sweet 3 year old to have fun.
"Come on, baby. Let's get you dressed." Olivia spoke, scooping her daughter up and bringing her upstairs. "Choose yourself an outfit, baby." Grace had searched through her boxes, choosing herself a random outfit and handing it to Olivia, who giggled and changed her. She had put the TV on, keeping Grace occupied as she'd gotten herself ready.
As she was getting ready, she'd stared at herself in the mirror. She was back in shape after having Grace. For the first few months of having Grace, Olivia wanted to spend all her time with her daughter. But after a long cry to Jeff, who comforted her every moment after, she'd decided she wanted to get back into shape. So she'd hike with Jeff, eat good, and exercise. And with her motivational husband, she'd gotten her body back in no time.
She'd changed into some sweatpants and a crop top, a more presentable version of what she'd gone to bed in. And with a light brush of her hair, she was ready, waiting for Jeff and Todd to finish their hike.
