She'd gotten home and been greeted by Roo, Nerf, and Natalie. Dinner was made and she was running around with the dogs.
"You're a hero, Nat." Olivia smiled. "I don't know what I would do without you."
"Don't even mention it." She replied, handing Olivia a plate. "Also, I spoke to David about Jeff."
"And?"
"Apparently Jeff is coming home." She stated. "Something about your message making him 'realise'."
"He had an epiphany over me sending him a message?" Olivia questioned, giggling.
Natalie was finally heading home after helping Olivia for a few days. She'd been a rock for her friend and Olivia felt comfortable being alone, knowing Jeff was coming home. She didn't know how he felt yet, but at least he'd be here, with Grace. She'd tidied the house, fed the dogs, had a shower, and was playing on her PlayStation in the living room. This had continued for however long, she'd completely lost track of time.
"Wow. It's the afternoon already." She mumbled, standing up and stretching her legs.
She'd heard a knock at the door. Raising her brow, she'd approached the door and opened it.
Jeff.
"Mommy!" Grace cheered.
"Hey baby, how was New York?" She cheered, picking her daughter up.
"I saw Gram and Gramps!"
Grace had run off, finding her familiar bedroom and playing. Leaving Olivia to deal with Jeff.
"I thought we were-"
He had kissed her, she could taste all the passion, desperation and sadness. It had lasted for what felt like a few seconds. She broke away, looking up at him.
"Vi, I'm so sorry." He started. "I overreacted and I'm such a fucking idiot. I just pictured the thought of you with another guy and it broke my heart. I hate it so much. You mean everything to me, I didn't want to lose any of you or this. You're so beautiful, and an amazing wife and mother. I don't want to lose you."
"You aren't going to lose me. But I couldn't tell you that I was planning a surprise, and you jumped to me cheating." Olivia replied.
Jeff had tears running down his face, Olivia was feeling overwhelmed with sadness and love.
"Now get inside." Olivia spoke, looking up at him.
"I forgive you."
