Olivia was out, collecting Roo and Nerf from Carly's house, which meant Jeff was at home with Grace. They'd spent a few weeks before their holiday researching kindergarten for Grace. Jeff sat at his computer, looking at local kindergartens. Grace was sitting in the living room, watching her shows.

"Daddy, I'm hungry." She spoke, appearing in the kitchen. Jeff looked over to his daughter and smiled, getting up from his chair and rummaging the fridge for fruit. He had cut up a selection of fruit she liked, as she was a fussy girl. And finally handed it to her. "Thank you." She giggled and ran back into the living room.

Jeff continued researching and stumbled over a local kindergarten.

15 minute drive from here. Jeff thought.
Good hours and it looks safe.

He saved it and waited for Olivia to arrive back home, deciding to sit with Grace. He sat beside her and she had crawled into his lap and sat there, her eyes not moving from the screen. After a few minutes of her eating, she'd turned to Jeff and smiled.

"Daddy, I want another baby."

Jeff almost choked on his own breath. Another baby?

"You mean a baby brother or sister?" He asked, of which she nodded to.

"Well we have to ask mommy." Jeff responded, silently cheering. He wanted another child for so long and knew they were ready.

"What's this about another baby?" Olivia asked, standing at the office door. Jeff was editing and also watching TV. He had paused the show, looking up at his wife with a sheepish smile. "Grace was asking me as I was making her dinner."

Jeff let out a giggle. Olivia joined him on the bed, sighing and rubbing his shoulders. "Jeff, I would love to have another baby. But I was Grace in kindergarten first. And once she's got her place, we can think about another child."

Jeff smiled and pressed a kiss to her hand, smiling to himself. "I actually found one." He had opened a browser tab and showed her the kindergarten he saved earlier.

"It wouldn't take long to get her there, and it looks fantastic." Olivia smiled. "But uniform? Really?"

"Hey, it's worth it. And imagine how cute she'd look in a smart little uniform."

"I'll give them a call tomorrow morning."
