It had been 2 weeks of grief and they'd just gotten home from staying with her parents. They'd been there for three weeks, sorting and attending the funeral. Olivia had mentioned the death of her brother to her vlog squad friends, all who were extremely supportive. David had privately called her, which she spent almost an hour crying to him. He knew how she reacts after a massive dose of bad news.

Jeff had been amazingly supportive, especially to Grace, who didn't understand what happened. She had bigger things on her mind, like school.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Jeff asked. Olivia had been acting quite bubblier than usual, considering the current situation.

"Yeah. It's taken me a few weeks to get here, but I know Nick would want me to keep going. He wouldn't want me to grieve for him forever." Olivia explained, zipping up a Grace's lunch box. "He's always said to me to push myself through whatever hardships."

Jeff smiled and kissed her temple, turning to see his daughter.

"I need help." She huffed, looking up at Jeff. He chuckled and crouched to her height, buttoning up her shirt for her. She smiled and ran off.

"She's so cute."

"I don't think I'm ready for her to go." Olivia spoke sadly, grabbing onto Jeff's hand. She marched towards the door, where the teacher was welcoming students in. Both Olivia and Jeff had waved at her as she disappeared behind the doors.

Jeff had to almost drag Olivia back to the car, so she wouldn't start crying. He began driving back home, as he has to edit.

"Oh," Olivia added. "Could you drop me at David's? He asked to see me." Jeff nodded and took a different route.

"Hey, if you need me today, just text me." Jeff spoke. "I'll drop everything and be right there. I love you."

"I love you too."
