They were in Olivia's old room, Grace was tucked into bed and Jeff was sitting beside Olivia.
"Talk to me, sweetheart. You haven't said a word since you found out." Jeff spoke.
Olivia turned to Jeff, crawled into his lap and cried. That's where the wall broke. She didn't show any sort of emotion since she found out. And she'd broken the wall and let it all out. He didn't know how long he was rubbing her back and cradling her as she cried, she didn't know how long she was even crying for. But the tears had made her eyes sore and tired.
"If you need to cry, just tell me. I'll do whatever you want me to do." Jeff reassured her, brushing her stray hairs from her face. She nodded and climbed into bed beside him, putting her head on the pillow.
She'd never experienced a world without Nick. And growing up was so amazing because she'd have her older brother beside her always. But now she didn't have any siblings. She had Tallulah, who she vowed to help, but no Nick. Just his memories.
