Poppy sighed and looked at Chase. You stared at her in shock, "Poppy? You told me- you promised me!" She looked at the floor. Oliver gently intertwined his hand in yours and pulled you into a hug. You burst into tears as Oliver holds you tightly. Poppy and the rest of the group turn around. You whisper into Oliver's ear, "Let's go. The group doesnt need us. And we dont need them." He nodded and you whistled for the manticore and you bounded off with Olvier. The group turned to see you gone.
Chase opened his wings and almost flew off in pursuit but Poppy grabbed his hand and pulled him down. "Let them go." He looked at her and then at Jackie and Kai. "I need to call Luke."
He took out a old phone and dialed Luke. Luke answered, "Bro where on earth are you?!" Chase explained quickly and Luke didnt respond. "Luke, is the kingdom okay?" No response. "Luke? Is the kingdom okay? Luke?" He heard Luke start to cry.
"We were evacuated. We had to leave everything. The darkness is at the border. I dont know how much time is left." Chase dropped the phone and sank down to the ground. "We need to find Leona." Jackie looked at a small item in the dirt. "Guys, what's this?" She picked it up and it was a small necklace used to hypnotize people. Kai went beside her, "That's mine! I bring it everywhere for good luck. But I lost it when Oliver showed up. Do you think-"
