Chapter 13: Love Birds

   Oliver and you were getting along perfectly. It was like a match made in heaven. But that vision threw you off. You realized that you were in love with two people. Oliver and Chase. Yes, Chase was being a jealous jerk but he actually loved you. You loved him for the longest time. Oliver, well you had just met him. And he was such a flirt.

   You woke up to find Oliver hovering over you on his hands and knees. Your eyes widened as he leaned down and kissed you tenderly on your lips. He pulled away and you laid there in shock, your cheeks red. He smirks then gets off and stands up.

   You weakly get up. That kiss made you melt. As you get breakfast together, Chase came up to you. "Hey..." You look at him. He looked so sad. You sigh, "Eggs?" He shook his head, "I'm fine, thanks." He stepped aside to talk to Kae. Oliver came up behind you and kissed your cheek. Chase saw and stared at him, his hand turned to a fist.

    You giggle and return the kiss, but on the lips. Oliver smiles and then goes outside to check the weather. Chase followed him. Oliver stood near the edge of the cliff and sighed. "The blizzard cleared up. We can move by 12." Chase inhaled sharply. "Dont think I dont know what you're doing." Oliver turned to face him, "What did you just say?" Chase repeated himself, with a sort of fierceness. "I know what you're trying to do. And I will expose you." Oliver laughed, "I have no idea what you're talking about Chase! I'm merely following my heart, and so is she. She doesnt love you. Your not good enough for her." He sneered.

   Chase yelled as he landed a blow to Oliver's gut. Poppy flew out immediately and grabbed Chases hand. He threw her aside, and advanced on Oliver. Poppys wings opened and she flew, tripped Chase and before he fell off the cliff, grabbed him and pulled him down. He landed on top of her and she held him down. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!" You rushed outside and assisted Oliver, who groaned loudly in pain. Chase huffed and tore himself from Poppy. She got up and grabbed his hand. "Chase. Answer me." He was panting and then as his breathing slowed, hugged her tightly and broke down. "Hes taking my best friend, my love, my everything from me, Poppy. And shes falling for all his tricks..." She sighed and held him there, letting him cry it all out. She wiped his tears and kissed his nose. "Well, I'll tell you this. There are more girls in this world than just her." She smiled and went inside. He sat there, defeated. He got up and sat near the opening of the cliff.

   Kae and Jackie had been talking through all this drama and he had grown attached to her. And she had opened up to him. This was a rare sight indeed. She had been used so much, but he made her feel safe, happy, loved. Kae grinned and gave her a hug before grabbing his bags. Oliver had recovered and was helping pack your stuff. Chase helped Poppy and soon they were ready to go. Jackie sighed, "Guys? I need to tell you something. And it's not going to be a good thing to hear." Everyone dropped their stuff and looked at her expectantly. She took a deep breath, "I-"
