Soul Flower (Choromatsu x reader)

-18 years old-

"Y/n-Chan!" Choromatsu calls out as he saw the girl walking home. She turns around and smiles "Oh hello Choromatsu-kun." She says with a soft smile that made the boy blush. "Walking home?" He asks and she nods "want to walk with me?" She asks and Choromatsu nods eagerly before walking beside her.

Y/n and Choromatsu have been friends since they were babies. They literally grew up together as y/n was also his neighbor. They had many great moments together as friends.

But Choromatsu wanted to be more than friends.

"Soo y/n." He starts and she hums "there is something I have been meaning to tell you." He says with a blush and y/n turns to him with a hum. "Yeah, what is it?" She asks and Choromatsu blushes heavily. "Well...I really like you y/n. Like really really like you." He says and she hums with a smile before patting his shoulder.

"Aw Choromatsu I like you too." She says and the boy blushes harder. "Really? You do?" He asks shyly and she giggles with a nod. "Of course I do. You are my friend after all." She says and Choromatsu hums as his heart drops. "Oh. Right." He says with a smile as he looks down. When they got to y/n's house she hugs him before entering the house.

Choromatsu walks away with a heavy sigh "Maybe another time." He says as he walks home.

-2 weeks later-

2 weeks.

2 weeks of Choromatsu trying to confess to his crush y/n. He loved her so much and yet whenever he tried to tell her. Something got in the way or y/n just didn't seem to understand. But today would be different. Today he was finally going to tell y/n and if she still didn't get it then he would help her understand.

But when he got to school he didn't see y/n anywhere. He knew that she had first hour with Ichimatsu and Karamatsu so we went to their classroom to look for her. When he didn't see her there either he went up to Ichimatsu. He was a little nervous to ask as he and his brothers didn't really talk to each other.

"Um Ichimatsu." He says and Ichimatsu turns to him with a hum. "What are you doing here?" He asks with a raised brow. "I was looking for y/n because I didn't see her in our usual spot so I thought she'd be here." He say and Ichimatsu hums before glancing to her desk. "Oh..I guess she isn't. That is strange." He says and Choromatsu hums as he tries to think. "Choromatsu?" Both Ichimatsu and Choromatsu turn my head to see Karamatsu.

"Why are you-" "have you seen y/n at all?" He asks with urgency and he hums before shaking his head. As they all try to think of where she was the intercom chimed. Choromatsu turns his head with a hum as that usually meant there was an announcement. Then the principal's voice came onto the intercom.

"Good morning students of Akatsuka High. Today we have received tragic news. We learned that one of our students, y/n l/n, died in a car accident. Some of us will want to have quiet time alone but for those of you who wish to talk one-to-one with the school counselor, she will be in her office and will see students during the day."

Choromatsu tuned out the rest of the announcement. His heart was heavy as he processed what he just heard. He couldn't believe it. He didn't want to believe it.

"Choromatsu-niisan?" "Choromatsu?"

Choromatsu glances up at his brothers to see their faces filled with concern. Choromatsu drops his head into his hands. He let out a shaky sigh as a lump forms in his throat. Both his brothers step forward to console their bother who was clearly broken-hearted.
