Please Remember (Amnesia! Father! Karamatsu x Daughter! reader)

"Mom. Dad. How much longer till we get home?" I ask and my mom looks back at me with a smile "Just a few more minutes hon." She says and I nod before my dad speaks "Did you have a fun birthday my dear?" He asks and I nod with a smile. "Thank you!" I say with a smile "of course my little y/n. How about you rest for a bit. You must be tired." He says with a smile and I nod before laying back. I let my eyes shut with a smile as I fell asleep.

That didn't last though.

I let out a sigh as I walk to my mom's room. I walk in and saw the doctor watching over her. He turns towards me and I wave at him. "Hello again y/n. Come to see your parents?" He asks and I nod "how's my mom?" I ask and he hums "Still stable and she has shown small signs of waking up." He says and I sigh "...it's been 2 years...I miss my mommy." I say as tears come to my eyes.

The doctor pats my shoulder and I say him with a comforting smile. "How about you check on your dad? His memory is getting better." He says and I nod before walking to my dad's room. When I walk in I saw him walking around looking at the flowers from his parents and brothers. He turns his head and smiles "Oh hello again." He says and I smile "Hi." I say softly and walk over to him.

"It's good to see you again. You said your name was y/n right?" He asks and I nod "what a beautiful name. You know it's funny." He says with a smile and I hum "What?" I ask and he holds my face "you look like my wife." He says with a soft smile and I feel tears well up in my eyes. I look down with a soft sob as tears leave my eyes. He hums and lifts my head "What's wrong? Why are you crying? Did I say something wro-hm?" I cut him off when I hug him tightly and bury my face into his chest.

"Y/n. What's wrong?" He asks and I pull back to wipe my eyes "it's nothing. It's just...I wish you could remember me." I say with a frown and sniff lightly. He hums and tilts his head "Remember? What do I need to remember?" He asks and I feel tears fall heavily "Everything. About what happened. About who I am." I say and he hums softly and I see him glance down.

I hum and watch as he lifts my necklace up in his hand. He tilts his head with a hum "Where did you get this?" He asks and I hum "oh that. I got it for my 12th birthday." I say and he hums "I've never seen it before." He says and I sigh "Well I usually tuck it into my shirt." I say and he hums before just staring at the necklace. "Um..you okay?" I ask and he looks up at me and back to the necklace before looking back up at me.

His eyes widen and he drops the necklace. I hum before squeaking as he hugs me tight. "Oh my god. Y/n. My y/n. My little girl." He says and I felt my breath hitch. "Y-You..You remember?" I ask and he pulls away with a nod "I do. Your my y/n. My sweet daughter." He says before smiling and lifting me up before spinning around. "I remember! My god I remember everything!" He shouts happily before stopping and setting me down.

"Oh my god...I remember everything." He says and I hum before he held my arms "y/n. Your mother. Where is she?" He says with a face of concern. I nod and lead the way to her room. I open the door to see that the doctor had left. My dad walks over to my mom and leans over with a concerned look. "M/n. Oh my love. I'm so sorry that this happened." He says and held her hand before sitting down.

I walk over to sit beside him and I notice my mom's eye lids and nose twitch. I tilt my head with a hum and look at my dad. "Dad. I think I saw her nose twitch." I say and he hums before looking at her. He hums before smiling as he stands up and leans over to her ear. I couldn't hear what he whispered but I could take a good guess. He pulls back to kiss my mom and lay his forehead on hers.

"Our daughter misses you dearly and I need you here with us. Please wake up."

I watch with an anxious look. At first nothing happened but then I saw my mom's fingers twitch before her hand holds Karamatsu's hand. I hear my dad hum and see him smile as my mom stirs with a groan before slowly opening her eyes. I stand up with a smile as tears well up in my eyes and my mom looks at the both of us. She looks at my dad and smiles "Hey." She says in a strained voice and my dad leans in "Hey." He says and kisses my mom.

She pulls away and opens her arms for me. "Come here honey." She says and I walk over to hug her tightly along with my dad. "I'm so glad you two are okay." I say and they hum "We're happy to see you are okay too hon." My mom says and my dad kisses the top of my head. I just smile and hug both of them tighter.

I was so happy to have my family back.

After two years without them I finally had them back and I would never let this happen again.
