I was walking alongside Karamatsu as we went on our walk. I glance to the side to see other Nekos walking with the respective humans. I sigh as I caught a glimpse of a human walking by herself. She must not have an owner. You see in this world humans are seen as pets for Nekos. Seeing a human by themselves is a rare but sad case. I sigh before gasping as Karamatsu yanks my leash pulling me forward.

"Come on y/n. Keep up." He says and I hum "yes master." I say softly before walking beside him. I continue to look at the Nekos passing by with their pets in tow. I wonder how many of them had better lives than me. Don't get me wrong I loved having Karamatsu as my owner but he was way too protective. He hardly lets me leave the house unless he is with me or he can keep an eye on me.

Other than that he gave me proper attention and fed me well. He even gave me a nice room to sleep. So yeah my life is pretty nice but I just wish he'd let me leave the house more.

"Y/n. Wake up."

I lift my head with a hum when I heard Karamatsu's voice along with knocking on my door. "I'm up!" I call back and I hear him chuckle "Good. We're going to be going to the store today so get dressed and come get some breakfast." He says and I hum "okay. I'll be right out master." I say and I hear him walk off. I hop out of bed with a yawn and stretch a bit before heading to the bathroom.

I glance in the mirror and went to leave before I froze and did a double take. I stare in the mirror shocked and confused but also scared when I saw that I had cat ears and a tail. I reach my hands up and tug at the ears before I yelp softly. "Well they're really alright. But how do I have-I'm human I shouldn't have these." I say and felt nervous when I thought of how Karamatsu would react.

He wouldn't be happy.

I went to my closet and pick out a dress. I sigh and move my tail to wrap around my waist before sliding the dress on. I search for a hat and put it on over my ears. I look in the mirror and nod before leaving my room to have breakfast with Karamatsu before we left. During breakfast Karamatsu asks about my hat and I just smile "I thought I try something new." I say and he hums but shrugs it off.

During our trip to the store I was on edge and anytime my hat almost fell off I would grip on it. When I finally got home I knew I could relax a little but I still had Karamatsu to worry about. I stood still as Karamatsu detaches the leash from my collar. I went to go to my room but Karamatsu held my wrist. "I need to speak with you." He says before pulling me to his room where he closes the door.

"You okay y/n? You've been tense all day." He asks and I hum "oh really? Well I'm okay. Don't worry about me." I say and he hums before crossing his arms. "I feel like you're lying to me y/n." He says with a low tone with narrowed eyes and I gulp nervously but smile. "Really I'm okay." I say and he stares at me. I clear my throat and make my way to the door. "Now if you'll excuse me. I'll go back to my room and-" I shut up when he reaches out and snatched my hat off.

I was terrified as he stares at me with shock before becoming angry. "Why do you have those?!" He yells and I cower back feeling my ears fold down. Before I could answer he drops the hat and grips my wrist. "Did you do this?! You left the house when I wasn't looking and get them didn't you?!" I shook my head with a whimper as his grip was tight on my wrist.

"Then why are you a neko?" He asks with an angry tone and I feel tears leave my eyes as I shout "I don't know!" He stares at me and he was about to yell again but I continue "I swear I don't know. I just woke up and they were there." I whimper out and he lets go of my wrist. He was silent but I felt like he was angry. I bow to the ground and cry out "I swear I didn't leave the house. I would never disobey you like that I swear."
