Nat POV:"Can... can I see her?" I ask trying to hold back tears.
The doctor slowly nods and brings a wheelchair in for me. With Will's help I transfer into the wheelchair and I'm wheeled to the NICU. Once we enter I'm overcome with emotion.
I never noticed how emotional this room actually was. I've spent so many days in here caring for patients but now my daughter is the patient. My daughter could die. I see a couple break down in tears after speaking with a doctor. I avert my eyes, not wanting to cry even harder.
I pushed up next to an incubator and see a small little girl lying there with multiple machines hooked up to her. That... that's my daughter. I can't believe it. She's so small. But at the same time she's perfect. I start sobbing. I can't believe it Will and I have another daughter, she's ours. I can't believe Owen and Zoe have a baby sister.
I reach my hand out and place it on top of her incubator, I look in and smile at her, even though she most likely cannot see me with the eye patches on. Will places his hand on top of mine, and smiles at me.
"You did it Nat." He whispers as I notice a single tear slip down his cheek.
I reach up and wipe it a way while saying, "No Will, we did it."
He leans down and kisses me before crouching down so he's at my level, along with our daughter's level.

After about an hour sitting next to our daughter my doctor tells us we need to go back to our room. As we're leaving I hear multiple machines going off. I quickly turn around and see doctors rushing towards an incubator. But not any incubator, our daughter's incubator.
"What... what's going on? Is she okay?" I scream trying to turn my wheelchair around, while the nurse keeps pushing me away.
"Nat, it's okay, I'll stay with her." Will says kissing my forehead.
"No, Will, I need to stay with her!" I cry, still fighting the nurse.
"Dr. Manning you need to go back to your room, it's time for your treatment for your infection. I'll have someone update you on your daughters condition." The nurse says before pushing me back to my room.
Once in my room she helps me into bed, and starts the treatment. Once it's started she leaves without saying a word. I can't stay here I need to know what's wrong!
"Congratulations Natalie!!" I hear multiple people say from the doorway.
I look over and see Helen, Maggie, April, Sarah, Erin, Anna, Jay, Sharon, Dr. Charles, Gabby, and Sylvie standing there, balloons in hand. They walk in and all give me hugs.
"What are you guys doing here?" I ask, completely shocked.
"We heard that you have a new daughter!" Maggie shouts excitedly as everyone sets their gifts down.
I hang with them for a while before I lie and say I'm tired. They promise that they'd come back tomorrow. The truth is I just need to know what's wrong with my daughter.
"Nat?" I hear Will ask as he lightly knocks on the door.
"Will! Is she okay? What's wrong?" I ask frantically.
"Well... the OB wanted to discuss that..." Will says as my OB walks in.
"Dr. Manning, Dr. Halstead I hate to say that your daughter is now in liver failure. Without a donor, she won't make it. I'm so sorry."
