• Nothing? Nothing. •
Amphitrite could feel the finalizar docking on the planet. She was excited, obviously. She had been trapped upon the mighty ship of the first order for years, she had never been anywhere besides the ship itself and the place of her "Jedi" training. She giggled happily as she ran to one of the visors to look outside. It was beautiful, an entire mountainous region with snow covering everything. She had never seen snow, not that she could remember, and it was one of the most beautiful things she had ever seen. Pine trees and mountains dotted the horizon. Just beyond there she could imagine people, real people! It had been so long since she had met anyone new, she almost forgot the feeling. Kylo entered her room, his masked eyes immediately falling on her as she gazed out the window, fingers pressed against the glass and her warm breath caused fog on the cold glass. Kylo chuckled but the sound was muffled by his mask. "Keep your hands off of the glass, Snowflake. You will leave marks on it if you don't." He told her and Amphitrite stepped back from the window. "Oh Kylo it's beautiful!" She said with a grin and curious sparkling eyes. "I can't wait to go out there and see it all for myself!" Kylo froze as the energy around them suddenly became very tense. He looked down at her with a stern expression on his face, though she couldn't see it. "You-you want to go outside?" He asked and the elemental nodded slowly. "Yes." She replied. "I've never been anywhere but the Finalizer and the place where we trained to be Jedi... I've never seen snow before, Ben." He tensed at the mention of his former name and Amphitrite was quick to notice. "Kylo, sorry, I'm still... I'm still getting used to the name change." Kylo sighed, he seethed with anger but there was nothing Amphrite could really do. "It is more the just a name change." He snapped as he reached down and gripped her chin with leather gloves fingers, forcing her to look up into the dark depths of his black mask. "Ben Solo is dead. Kylo Ren lives on. You better get used to the change because it will never be undone." He hissed. He walked over to the window and placed his bare, ungloved hand, on a small silver square by the glass visor and the window, Amphitrite's only view into the outside world was quickly shielded from view. "As for going outside you can forget that." He added, it was obvious now that the whole situation had put him into a sour mood. "What? Why?" Amphitrite asked, suddenly alarmed and upset. "Kylo, please." She pleaded. "Why can't I go outside." He sighed again, the anger slowly melting away as her small voice started to finally reach him. He sat down on her bed and pulled her onto his lap. He moved his gloved hands to remove his dark helmet and honey eyes met her ocean blue irises. "Because, my snowflake, this planet is filled with dangerous people, savages if you will." He reached his hands up to slowly caress her cheeks, leather thumbs brushing against her pale skin. "And if anything were to happen to you... I wouldn't be able to live with myself." He added as he rested his forehead against hers. His breathing slowed and he seemed to be much less tempered then before. Amphitrite slowly placed her hands on his while she closed her eyes. "Kylo-" she began but he interrupted her. "That is why you must stay here, hidden. Here you will be safe." "Alright." She said softly. "I will stay here. But on one condition." His eyes lit up slightly as he looked into her blue eyes. "When we left the Jedi temple all those years ago you told me I-we would be free and yet I still feel like a prisoner." "I know." Kylo replied. He pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead as he held her close to him. "Just give me some more time. Snoke is strong in the force, once he finishes training me I will get him out of the way and with Star Killer Base underway, nothing will stand between us and our freedom." "Nothing?" "Nothing."
