"Why did you do it?" The voice echoed through Amphitrite's mind. She was dreaming again and she hated her constant vivid dreams that seemed to plague her relentlessly. "Why did you send him to kill me?" She recognized that voice, it was Artemis, her sister. Her dream came together and she could see Artemis standing before her. Blood soaking her clothing. Behind her was a king and queen, also bleeding out of the chests profusely. Amphitrite assumed they were her parents. "Why didn't you stop him?" She added. "Save me, Amphitrite." This dream seemed to be much shorter then all of her others. Something so brief was different from what she was used to. "Save me." She added and Amphitrite could feel the dream slipping away. "I am the moon." She heard her sister say, something she hadn't heard in so long. "And I am the sea." She muttered in response, coming to and opening her eyes.
Kylo's honey brown eyes opened when he heard Amphitrite beginning to stir against him. He heard her mutter something, but he wasn't sure what. He used his arm that was already wrapped around her waist to pull her even closer to him, nestling her small form against his chest. "Nightmares again, snowflake?" He whispered into her ear and she nodded. "It's okay. I'm right here. I won't let anything happen to you." He told her with comfort in his voice. This was one of the things about Kylo that made Amphitrite sick. He could be so cruel to her, to other people, but then when he had finally gotten all of his aggression and rage out he was gentle and calm. Almost like the boy she had known years ago. This was the side of him that she had fallen for hopelessly. The vulnerable kind hearted side that would hold her close, whisper sweet things into her ear, and promise her that there was no harm to come to her. This was the side of him that she loved and adored. The side that she rarely saw. This was Ben Solo, even though Kylo persisted he was dead and gone Amphitrite knew better. And nestled in his arms against his chest, listening to the soft rhythm of his heart beat, she was able to drift off into a dreamless sleep.
Amphitrite was walking back to her room the next morning. She was confused, scared, and giddy all at the same time. She hopped that Kylo had forgetten about his threats to kill her sister and she also hoped that the Supreme Leader would managed to keep him too busy to even think about it. She still had General Hux's gloves on her hands and she looked down at them as she walked. She wondered how someone like him could have possibly been capable of murdering an entire political organization. The bare idea of Hux with a blaster pointed her parents and her people made her shiver. She had really thought she had made a bond with him, a possible friendship even. But she supposed she was wrong. She was so lost in thought she almost didn't hear someone calling her name. It wasn't until they called her name for the third time that she finally looked up and turned around and all of her thoughts started to fade and a slight glimmer of fear crossed her face. "Amphitrite... I almost got worried that Ren had hurt you." Amphitrite gulped as she looked up at the man who walked over to her. "General." She said, her voice small.
