Energy. A female voice called and Amphitrite's eyes fluttered open. She wasn't still in the snow nor on the first order base. She had no idea where she was. Energy flows between and within every person. Amphitrite turned to see a woman clothed in black. She had a black hood covering her face but Amphitrite could see strands of black hair that fell just underneath her cloak. "Who are you?" Amphitrite asked and the woman took off the hood of her cloak. My name is Isma. The woman said and Amphitrite couldn't help but notice her striking pale green eyes and the fact that Isma wasn't even looking directly at her. I am your great aunt and yes, I am blind. She said with a small smile. I was an elemental, just like you. She told Amphitrite calmly. But I did not control water or fire or any of the popular elements. I was an elemental of the core element. Energy. Amphitrite gave her a confused look. "Energy?" She asked. Isma nodded. The four main elements are Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. But at their core is energy. The force that moves and controls every living thing. "Why are you telling me this?" Isma smiled. Because it's time you use it. There was a bright flash of light and suddenly behind Isma was a great crowd of people. We are all of the elementals of the past. Isma told her. Air, water, earth, fire, and energy all gathered to see you in your time of need. You are the last one, Amphitrite. The survival of our race, of our culture depends on you. Isma stepped closer to Amphitrite. You know what you need to do. She said softly. Isma reached up and placed her thumb at the center of Amphitrite's forehead and rested her fingers in Amphitrite's hair. Amphitrite closed her eyes, understanding now and she nodded. "I know what I need to do."Amphitrite's eyes shot open. They were still in the snow, Kylo hadn't brought them to the base just yet. Her body was limp in the cold snow but she was able to conjure the power she needed to rise up. "Kylo Ren." She called with sudden strength. The man clothed in black turned to her, as if he were challenging her. "Did You really think I would just 'give up' that easily?" She continued to taunt him. Kylo activated his lightsaber once more. "Take that mask off." Amphitrite ordered and she could hear Kylo scoff. "Why? So you can see me one last time before I end your life?" "No." Amphitrite said flatly. "Because hiding behind a mask is cowardice. Face me, or are you still too afraid?" If there was one thing Kylo didn't like it was being called a coward. He hesitated for a moment but then he slowly removed his mask and tossed it into the crisp snow. "I am no coward." Kylo roared. Amphitrite took in the features of his beautiful face one last time. His midnight black hair was somehow still flawless after being stuffed inside his helm for who knows how long. His brown eyes were hungry and fierce as they looked at Amphitrite and his lips were still as full and pink as the day she met him. She almost didn't want to leave the beautiful man behind but he gave her no choice.
Kylo made the first move, charging her and swinging his saber at her. Amphitrite dodged it effortlessly, finding power and strength in her new ability. Kylo growled as he missed her and swung again, moving the saber to swipe across her stomach. Amphitrite jumped back, just barely being missed by the lightsaber. Kylo began to grow impatient with her jumping and dodging his blows. He let out a deep breath before moving to make one last deadly swipe across her shoulder. He missed once more. A low growl of frustration rippled through his chest. He finally outstretched his hand and Amphitrite froze in place. She was held there by the force and the force alone. Energy flows within and between each person. Isma's words echoed in Amphitrite's ears. You know what you need to do. "Did you really think you could just jump up and defeat me?" Kylo teased Amphitrite, his voice and eyes were feral. Amphitrite could feel his energy flowing through her. She closed her eyes to focus on it. To focus on Kylo's energy. It was rough and raw. There was no definition or depth to it, it was just like a strong push in one direction. Amphitrite didn't push back, an opposite push on the energy would only make it worse. Instead she allowed the energy to be redirected and flow out of her body. Kylo watched in horror and wonder as Amphitrite moved out of his force hold. "What?" He hissed. He tried again with the force, trying to make her stop. She hesitated for only a moment before she kept going. "How are you doing that? It's not possible!" Amphitrite kept a straight face as she stretched out her hand. Just like before she allowed the blood within his body to move to her will. She controlled him like a puppet. Kylo hissed as she forced him to his knees. "Do you remember what I said to you before we left the Jedi temple years ago?" Kylo scowled up at her. Amphitrite moved her hand freely and ice surrounded kylo's legs and held him in place. "I said that if we ever crossed paths again I wouldn't hesitate to end it." She continued to manipulate him with his blood and tilted his chin up. His brown eyes were wide as he watched her. She pressed her thumb to his forehead and her fingers rested in his black hair on the crown of his head. "Permanently" just as the words left her mouth a sharp brief pain weaved it's way through kylo's body and he suddenly fell limp. Amphitrite backed away, realizing what she had done.
