(Still In John's P.O.V)

"Isn't it great? So quiet, it's so nice!" Thomas exclaimed, mostly chattering up Alexander more than me. I felt like I was the third wheel, on a date with my two great friends. Although, Thomas isn't exactly what I'd call, a friend, or great. Alexander?
Definitely. He's better than Herc and Laf, wonder why? 'Cause he gets me, he's also kind and loving. Here, I'll explain.
I met him a week ago, but I feel like I've known the guy for years and years. We've had moments. Some him nor I, can't tell you. Sorry, but I'd rather keep it a secret for now. Hehe.
I missed the response of Alexander.
"How do you feel about it John?" Thomas asked a bit reluctantly. I already knew what he was talking about, thank god.
"It's beautiful-"
"So, anyway, Alexander.." Thomas interrupted him as soon as he was done with his last word. Is this guy holding a grudge on me or something? Alexander looked at him questionably, his low ponytail flicking to his left shoulder in a flash.
The couldn't keep it's eyes off Alex, I couldn't either for some stupid reason. I loved the way he'd scrunch his nose, it was one of the most adorable thing. I loved his smile, his teeth were pearly white, like the most brightest cloud of them all.
I stopped myself from thinking of him, I've had thoughts about him recently. As I missed Alexander's response, again, I blinked at the words Jefferson had said.

"Madison is so annoying all the time, I couldn't have stayed with him." He'd lean back in his chair, acting like he was cool.
"I-I, didn't really ask..." I heard Alexander murmur underneath his breath. I guessed Thomas hadn't heard, 'cause his face wasn't red like it would be if he got angry. I haven't met him, only this once. But for some reason he knows about me. Angelica told me why Lafayette and Hercules avoided him, he takes what he wants.
Apparently he tried to rip apart Hercules and Laf in college, luckily the two found out what was happening and ignored him for the rest of the years they had.
"I'm sorry he was like that. Jefferson." Alexander quietly clicked with a voice. I placed my left arm on the table, it held my head, as I sighed of boredom.
The only reason I'm here.. is to protect Alex.
A few hours passed, we ate, drank, chatted, talked some more, and more, and... more.

"Well," I heard Alexander's voice, I'd sit up in my chair, staring at him desperately to leave.
"Thanks for hanging out with us." he'd rise from his chair, John following quickly. Thomas blankly thought over the words before he stopped us.
"It was more of a date." Yeah, he stopped us with words.
"Date?" I gritted my teeth, answering with a question.
"Date?" Alexander copied, his face having the same amount of surprise I had in my expression.
"Yeah, date." Thomas smiled at Alexander with a hint of love in his eyes. "And, I'll text you if you'd like to have more."
He rose from his chair, unlocking the door and letting us walk into the hallway once again.
Alexander uncomfortably shifted out, saying his small goodbye to Jefferson before walking side by side with John.
I felt so, jealous? Is that what I feel? Just. Great.
"So, that was a date?" I asked, not looking him in the eye. Alexander sighed, his head dropping to his chest.
"I thought it was a small hang out." He'd stressly grasp his hair, playing with it. I've noticed he does that when he's nervous.
"You alright?" I'd ask as soon as I glanced up from my feet. Alexander made the two halt, right outside of the lounge. My eyes couldn't help but lead up to his, his beautiful brown eyes that matched his hair. It looked like he did the same.
"I." Alexander cut himself off, his eyes nervously flashing from side to side. I'd wait there, shuffling my feet as I wondered all the things he'd tell me.
After a few moments, we stood there, eyes deep into each other's. I couldn't wait anymore, that's what something inside told me.

I questioned the voice inside, shaking with what I thought-.
'Just do it, I know that you've liked him ever since you laid eyes on him. Do it.' the voice shrieked in my head like a crow.
Something pushed me to take a step closer till our noses' were only an inch apart.
I heard Alexander's breath build up into a race, mine following. Finally discovering myself, and the time we've known each other, I quickly pulled away.
"I'm so sorry, I have no idea what came over me." I established, nervous on what'd he'd say. Alexander glanced at my lips for a second before expressing a small chuckle.
"Heh.. I'm sorry too. Something came over me aswell." after I explained my actions, and he after, we began to walk back to the suite.

"What?" Peggy asked surprsingly.
"Mhm.." her frown turned upside down, a smile playing at the corners of her mouth. Peggy wrapped her arms around my right arm, shaking me gently with a joyful screech.
"Why didn't you follow through with it?" Peggy hopped up and down once my arm was free from her 'Digging-in-skin-nails.' that's what everyone called them.
"We've known each other for a week!" I began to argue with her, her face expressing an irritated look.

Alexander's P.O.V

"What?" Hercules asked surprisingly. Lafayette sitting on his lap.
"Yeah!" I responded with a giggly voice.
"You've gotta go back to him." Lafayette exclaimed, still on his fiance's lap. I smiled, feeling a rush of blush follow my cheeks.
"I would, but again, I've known him for a week." they gave him a look, I know they get annoyed whenever I say that, but it's true! They were in their room, you'd see stars floating in the sky if you looked out the window.
Angelica, and Eliza went off to the pools', figuring no one would be out there at night. Sheesh, you guys don't think no one has thought of that before? Peggy and John had gone off somewhere as well, they left in a hurry, so no one knew where they had gone. I laughed, my arms crossing.
"I'm sorry to burst your guys' bubbles', but-"
"Alexander, you need to figure yourself out. John obviously likes you too, he's not gonna care." Hercules interrupted, rolling his eyes after I had halted my words.
I felt a burning feeling inside, that forced me to smile, to make my nervousness suddenly switch to confidence.
"Yeah. You're right." I hopped off the bed, about to venture off onto the boat, but hearing Lafayette's voice made me stop.

"Alexander! Wait!" I turned around, blinking at him, revealing the question in my eyes.
"You have to make it special." I showed him I was listening by nodding. "When Lafayette and I had our first kiss, he made me meet him at a beautiful garden," Lafayette finished the sentence. "And I came up behind him, made him turn around, and boom!" the two giggled together, snuggling into each other deeper.
"Yeah, yeah, I get it. Sheesh." I still had the unforgetting smile on my face, I felt it. I didn't even control it, it just, lay there.
"Go get your man!" I already was out and onto the deck of the boats when I heard them both yell. I couldn't stop smiling, literally, the confidence inside me hadn't left me either. I searched the cruise ship, every spot that I would check my confidence would slowly run down.
I wasn't about to give up now though, I couldn't.
I was certain I, liked- no, not the right word... more like, loved. Isn't it weird? You find someone so, funny, kind, amazing, compassionate.. and the first time you meet them, you want them forever.
