December 22nd, 9:37 AM.

'Hey, It's me again, Journal. I forgot to update you yesterday, but here I am. I had a lot of fun, I know, surprising. It turns out, this fellow I was meeting, his name is John Laurens. He's gonna start hanging out with my friends and I. I like him, he's a cool dude. Eliza asked me to volunteer at the animal shelter tomorrow with her, I said 'Sure.' Oh! Oh! I almost forgot, we had a mini snowball fight yesterday, strangers started joining in. It was hilarious. We had to drive John home and drop him off, cause apparently his roommate was sleeping.
But it gave us time to get to know each other, we exchanged numbers as well. We're gonna hang out, just the two of us. He said he would like to know me a bit more.

So after I'm done with John tomorrow at the skating rink, I'll be heading over to the animal shelter with Eliza. Let me tell you, I have no idea how to skate. I never did it, never in my whole life. I did roller skating, that's always fun. But Ice skating? Hell, don't know how I'll save myself from falling. I heard it was a bit difficult, but, who knows? It might be my thing. That's all for now, I'll update you tomorrow.'

Alexander closed his journal, he leaned over and placed it on his desk. He'd sigh, bored out of his mind. His stomach growled pretty loudly, he'd scoff, hopping off his bed and out into the hallway. Already, a scent had reached his nose. 'Bacon and Eggs!'  he'd turn a corner. Eliza wore a big blue T-shirt, along with ripped blue jeans. She stood at the base of the stove, her right arm stirring something with a large spoon.
He'd wander towards the cup cabinet, his hand rising up to grab a hold of the handle. Alexander opened it slowly, his other hand rising to take a glass. He'd close the cabinet door, wandering over towards the refrigerator. Alexander stuck his cup in the square, it holding back a button. Ice started to spill out, water after.
Eliza turned her head. "Oh, morning."
Alexander sat at the kitchen table, drinking his water. "Morning." he'd answer, before taking a drink.
"So.. I was thinking.." Eliza turned the knob on the stove, cooling it down. Her shoulders turned her body around, her legs carrying her over to the empty seat next to him. She'd sit down, the scent of roses' appearing in his nose.

Alexander gazed at her with his brown eyes, his brow slightly raised. She'd laugh quietly, her eyes not meeting his. Her hand clenched up, looking like a rock.
"Um. I was wondering, if.."
"Hmm?"
"Would it be possible, if we could go on a date... tomorrow? I totally understand if you say no." the words came out as quick as an avalanche. He'd feel his heart race, 'What? Are you serious? We've known each other for only a year! That's too short for me.'  Alexander couldn't say that. He knew he shouldn't.
"Isn't this a little sudden?" he'd laugh nervously, glancing at her between drinks. Eliza looked down at her feet, her hair looking like a waterfall.
"I'm sorry, but after two weeks of knowing you, I felt something." 'What should I say? I don't understand why'd she like me in the first place. I'm poor.'
"I'll, go with you." He'd strain to let the words out. 'I can't have her heart be broken, by me of all people.'
"Yay! Awesome! I'll call them next morning. I know you and John will be hanging out, so I'll do it for dinner." Eliza jumped from her seat, her arms up to her chest, as she squealed.
"This is going to be so fun you don't even know!" she'd get back to what she was cooking, Alexander hearing her squeals never stop.

'Journal, I messed up. Why did this have to happen in the third chapter? Ugh what do I do? I guess when I'm out with John, I'll ask for advice. I can't stand to see Eliza upset. I had to do it. It's a problem. I just hope we aren't doing anything crazy. It's just a date, what could go wrong? It's not like we're ACTUALLY dating... right? Oh lord, I hope this doesn't turn out bad. I'll update you tomorrow...'

(Sorry, small chapter hehe ;3)
