Chapter 4

A teen stood still and tall in a small clearing, he had black hair with strands of his hair at the front slightly longer. Three whisker marks were visible on each side of his cheek and his cold piercing blue eyes keenly observed his surroundings .

The teen didn't wear a shirt but rather only wore fingerless opera-length black gloves wrapped in studded red-brown leather straps, baggy black pants, and pitch black shinobi sandals which were also wrapped with studded red-brown leather straps.

The teen took out a kunai from his kunai pouch and ran towards his targets at lightning speed. "It's him!!" One of his targets yelled and got his companions ready to fight.

"[Didn't we tell you to put your mask on?!]" A voice said from the teens communicator which was located on the necklace around his neck.

"Don't wanna." The teen answered simply, his enemies let out a cry as they charged towards him. He struck his enemies, killing the small group of rouge shinobi, however more emerged from the forest.

"[Jeez you're just as stubborn as you were when you were in Konohagakure, Naruto.]" Another chimed in.

Naruto rolled his eyes and kicked one of his opponents on the face. He quickly got into a handstand position and spun his legs with his one hand performed hand signs. "Wind Style: Aerial Dance Jutsu!" Naruto exclaimed and created a whirl of wind as he moved his legs in a circular motion.

His opponents flew back hitting the trees and bushes but some were able to break their fall. "Earth Style: Cliff Crumble Jutsu!" One of the opponents yelled as he slammed his fists down on the ground.

The ground rumbled and rocks began to appear from the ground over lapping one another before it came crumbling down towards Naruto who did a back hand spring towards a tree. He turned and ran up the tree with the rogue ninja following him.

"You're not getting away!!" He yelled.

Naruto back flipped off the tree, his eyes glued to the rogue shinobi who watched him. "I never run, now," Naruto began as he landed on the ground, "silence." His kunai pierced the rouge ninjas flesh.

Blood splattered across the grass floor and Naruto sighed, wiping off the little blood that got onto his face. "[You guys almost done?]" Naruto asked as he punched his opponent followed by kicking him on the gut. Naruto pulled out a scroll from his pouch that labelled 'sword' and unravelled it.

He pulled out the sword from the scroll and unsheathed it. Only four more rogue ninja's remained. All were ready to kill him. "Take him down!" One of the ninja's yelled as the rest of the group let out a cry charging towards Naruto.

Naruto held the grip upside down, and with one swift movement he dashed towards his enemies slashing and stabbing them. All four targets fell to the ground with pools of blood forming under them.

Naruto sheathed his sword and put it back into the scroll. He then attached the scroll to his pants. "[I'm done, you guys?]" Naruto asked putting on a jacket before running up a tall tree and sat on a thick the branch.

"[Yeah, wanna head back to Suna?]" One asked and Naruto grinned as stood up.

Before anything else could happen the three dashed towards Sunagakure and appeared at the front with bright smiles. "Damn it Naru! You always beat us!" The teen with blue hair exclaimed. The blackette just chuckled and let out a small sigh.

"That's cuz' you guys need to work out more, especially you Takeda." Naruto state bluntly looking at blue haired teen.

The teen with caramel hair beside Takeda, burst into a fit of laughter. "I think Naru just called you overweight!" He laughed and Naruto punched him on the head.

"Same goes for you Kenta." Naruto said as he rolled his eyes. Kenta grumbled as he rubbed his head where Naruto had hit him.

"Hey! I have you know that my name means Strong and Healthy, dumbass!" Kenta yelled as he clenched his fists and glared at Naruto who just shrugged.

"Right and I'm the Kazekage." Naruto said bluntly.

"Well, Naru's right you don't do much and most of the time you just sleep, Kenta "Lazy-ass" Hayashi." Takeda grinned and Kenta threw a punch at the bluenette. Takeda stumbled back clutching his poor cheek.

Naruto watched as the two bickered before he let out a sigh and walked off. "Later guys, I'm gonna go eat, have fun cooking for yourselves." Naruto said as he raised his right arm and waved.

Kenta and Takeda stopped arguing and looked at Naruto who was still walking away. Not showing any signs to stop and wait for them. "THAT'S NOT FAIR NARU!! I'M GONNA TELL THE OLD MAN!!" Takeda yelled making Kenta laughed.

"Bro, you're like fifteen! What are you five?! All "I'm gonna tell the old man!"!!" Kenta laughed and he fell to the ground banging the sandy ground and rolled over, clutching his stomach.

"Shut up!!" Takeda yelled kicking Kenta's side.

Naruto arrived at the house he's living in with Kenta and Takeda. He ventured to his room and with a heavy sigh he took his jacket off, his gloves, sandals, kunai pouch and shuriken holster. He then collapsed onto his bed and stared at the wall beside him.

It's been three years since I was banished from Konohagakure. He thought. You gonna go back there? Kurama asked yawning, clearly just waking up from his so called "nap". When I turn sixteen. I'll stay for awhile. Afterall I did threaten the council two years ago. Naruto answered and he closed his eyes to enter his mindscape.

"Boy was that funny! You busted their doors down and literally pointed a sword at their faces." Kurama laughed. "I will kill you if you break the news to them without my permission." Kurama impersonated.

"I was serious. Besides, it's not like I'm gonna help them with their troubles. I'm just an anbu that takes orders from... well no one." Naruto said as he shrugged.

"Hmph, and being an arrogant little brat!" Kurama said and Naruto stuck his tongue.

"Shut up you stupid Nara Fox." Naruto argued.

"I'm not from the Nara!" Kurama yelled and Naruto opened his eyes. He blocked out Kurama's protests to being a Nara but the blonde was pretty convinced that the nine tails fox was from the Nara Clan.

The door to Naruto's door suddenly opened to reveal the silver haired man, "what the hell do you want, Norio?" Naruto asked coldly.

"Awh! That how you gonna talk to your old man now?" The man know as Norio asked and Naruto sat up from his bed and crossed his arms.

"Anyway, other than. There's an increase of SSS-rank Rogue Ninja's in the territory between Suna and Konoha." Norio explained and took out a map.

"It's mostly in Konoha," Norio pointed on the map that was circled. "The X's around the area are possible campsites."

"Tomorrow, Kenta and Takeda will follow you after their mission with me. Hunt. Tonight." Norio said and walked off. Naruto watched as Norio left and he grinned.

Yosh! Some free time! Naruto thought and decided to get some sleep before he left for that night.
