Chapter 14

Naruto and Sasuke charged at full speed with their signature Jutsu's ready to hit Pain. Pain stood his ground and waited for his opponents to come.

Sasuke's eyes widened and he went for the first shot. "Almighty Push!!" Pain yelled but Sasuke had turned into a puff of smoke.

Pain felt a huge electrical surge touch his body. He turned his head to see Sasuke, his had merely centimeters away from his back.

He turned and grabbed Sasuke's arm. He swung his around and threw him to the other side of the the battlefield.

Naruto appeared above Pain, who slowly raised his head. He moved to the side but Naruto struck Pain with his Rasengan on his stomach.

A huge explosion erupted and Pain went flying. Sasuke ran and followed through, he kicked pain several times before lunching him on the face, sending him back to where Naruto stood.

"Lightning Style: White Claw!!" Naruto yelled and Naruto positioned his hands as of he was going to claw at Pain.

Pain felt lightning surge through his body. Naruto had clawed at Pains chest and the "Almighty God" cried out in pain.

He dropped to the ground and Naruto stumbled to where Sasuke stood. "It's over, Pain." Naruto said staring at Pain with a blank stare. "Now, tell us where you really are."

"Wait, what?" Sasuke asked.

"Geh?! You managed to figure out his attack pattern but you didn't notice how the other Pains had metal body parts and insides, how does that work?!" Naruto asked.

"I don't know, dobe!!" Sasuke scowled.

Naruto rolled his eyes, sighed and then face palmed. "I don't get you." Naruto said.

Pain looked at Naruto and coughed, "find out for yourself, nine-tails." He said and soon passed.

Naruto and Sasuke stood in silence staring at Pains dead body. "Go take care of the rest." Naruto said as he turned and began to walk off.

"Where are you going?" Sasuke asked.

"To finish what we started." Naruto answered and disappeared into thin air.

Naruto rushed through the forest at high speed. Where did you say you sensed the Chakra Signature? Naruto asked.

Not even a sorry. Anyway just keep going this way. Kurama said and Naruto sighed. Sorry, happy now? Naruto asked.

Yes. Kurama answered making Naruto roll his eyes and keep running. A few minutes passed and Naruto came a cross a tree bigger than the rest.

"Wait a sec..." he said out loud. "What this tree always here?"

Dunno, you're the only person I know that used to go into the forest running around like a retard. Kurama said.

What was that stupid fox? Naruto asked.

Naruto felt the bark of the tree. It was smooth against his finger tips, smooth like paper. He raised an eyebrow and scratched at the bark.

The bark had a deep hole and Naruto peeped through the opening to see a dark room. Naruto ripped at the paper-like bark to see Konan of the Akatsuki beside a red haired man.

The man was only skin and bones, his Rinnegan eyes were dull and was attached to a machine of some sort.

"So this is where you've been." Naruto said approaching them.

Konan got ready to attack, "no, Konan." He said letting out a few coughs.

"But, Nagato-"

The man known as Nagato coughed several times, blood escaping his mouth. "No, I wish to talk to him." Nagato said.
