Chapter 12

Naruto and Pain stood in silence. Sasuke stood from behind he caught a glimpse of Naruto's black hair and red eyes. He knew Naruto was going to make the first move so he took a step back and took a stance.

Naruto could hear Sasuke take a step back and prepare himself and so he too got ready to attack Pain as well. A single leaf danced with the wind and when it gently landed on the ground Naruto dashed towards Pain at lightning speed.

Pain went for the first strike by punching Naruto who ducked and punched Pain on the gut. Naruto spun around and high kicked him on the face sending him back to where Sasuke stood.

Sasuke jumped and did hand signs, "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" He yelled and shot a fireball towards Pain suddenly another Pain appeared and absorbed the Jutsu. Another Pain appeared and struck Sasuke down.

Sasuke landed on the ground safely and Naruto joined him, "you alright?" Naruto asked. Sasuke took a second to get his breath and calm himself.

"Yeah." He said and faced all Six Pains.

"I suggest we take him on with Taijutsu first, I'll deliver the finishing blow to kill him. Can you back me up, Sasuke, like old times?" Naruto asked.

Sasuke smirked, "sure, dobe." He said and Naruto rolled his eyes.

The two took a stance back to back. Just when one Pain was about to do a Summoning Jutsu Naruto dashed towards the Chakra Absorber Pain and engaged him in a Taijutsu fight.

The other Pains charged but Sasuke ran up to them and started back Naruto. "Chidori Stream!" Sasuke yelled grabbing a rock which lit up, surrounded in Lightning. With one hard throw Sasuke threw the rock at the Pain that was closest to Naruto and the rock pierced its chest.

Naruto dodged the incoming punch from Pain and grabbed his arm, twisting it to the side before kneeing it hard where the elbow was. There was a cracking sound and Naruto with Kurama's chakra tore his arm off.

No blood spilled.

Naruto looked at the arm he had torn off to see metal parts within. What the fuck? He's the fricken Terminator, all of them are!! Naruto thought throwing the arm away in disgust.

You know you shouldn't be discussing about something that doesn't happen in about five million years, right? Kurama asked. This isn't the twenty-first century afterall.

The twenty-what? Naruto asked and Kurama sighed. Nevermind. Kurama said.

Naruto turned and faced Pain again he exhaled softly and darted towards him, he took out his scroll and pulled out his sword. With one swift slash Naruto cut off his other arm, Pain stumbled back and Naruto dashed towards him.

In a matter of seconds Naruto stabbed him several times before slashing him in half and then into several pieces, completely annihilating him. Naruto whipped his head to where Sasuke was and saw Pain charging towaards him.

Naruto interfered blocking the buff Pains punch, "you should be watching your back more, Sasuke." Naruto said grinning.

"You're one to talk." Sasuke said with a smirk.

Pain punched Naruto on the gut, hard and he coughed. Naruto glared at him and with Kurama's chakra he returned the punched but ten times harder, his punched was followed by a kick by Sasuke to Pains head.

Naruto turned and stabbed the Pain that Sasuke was dealing through the chest, then slashed him into pieces too.

There was a sudden rumbling sound and both Naruto and Sasuke jerked their heads to the side to see a huge lion summon with Rinnegan eyes charging towards them. "Scary, scary!!" Naruto said grinning.
