Chapter 19

"All of you stay here and set up camp, I'll deal with the rogue ninja's." Naruto said not even looking at anyone in the eye. "Oh and, don't mind the mutts screams."

Kiba let out a scream scaring everyone around him and making Naruto smirk.

Without another word Naruto disappeared into thin air leaving the others behind to fend for themselves. It some time to settle down with Kiba's constant screams of fear and other emotions, Sasuke and Sai wanting to go after Naruto and the others just wanting to set up camp and let him be.

Shinola let out a quiet sigh, "he'll come back so why don't we all just sit?" He asked in his usual monotone.

"But-"

"Shino's right you know?" Sakura asked. "Naruto told us to set up camp here and leave him be. I think it's best."

Kiba let out a scream from behind Sasuke making the Uchiha jump. "Someone shut him up already!!" Sasuke yelled clutching on a tree branch like a scared cat.

"Guess we'll set up a tent to at least suppress his screams." Sai said and took off his backpack taking out a tent and tent pegs.

With the help of Shino and Hinata they managed to set up the tent quickly and transfer Kiba into it. "Alright, now that's done let's go Hunt for some food." Sakura suggested.

"I'll stay here on guard." Sai offered.

"I'll stay with you." Shino said and sat down leaning against a tree near Sai who sat on the grass, drawing.

The while day passed quickly and Naruto still hadn't returned. To make sure they weren't attacked they all took turns keeping watch.

It was morning and Sakura stretched her arms. It had been two solid hours of keeping a look out for any enemies and Naruto. The others had gone to hunt for some food while she stayed with Kiba who was still asleep, but no longer screaming.

Sakura was walking around the area when she heard a sudden rustling sound, alerted she took out a kunai and slowly approached the bush that had rustled.

Her eyes widened, a familiar blackette with blue eyes that had no life in them approached her slowly. Sakura put her kunai away, "Naruto!!" She exclaimed.

"Where have you been?!" She asked, before Naruto could answer he stumbled out of the bushes and collapsed in front of Sakura.

"Oh my..." Sakura couldn't even finish her sentence. Naruto was covered in several wounds that were indescribable.

Kiba who had just woken up approached them. His eyes widened and flashbacks of Naruto's memories flashed into his mind.

"Oy!" He cried rushing to Naruto as Sakura held him in her arms.

Naruto coughed out blood and he sighed staring at the sky, "what a pain..." he muttered. "My henge about to wear off."

"Your what?!" Sakura asked and Kiba remembered.

"So that genjutsu you put me in... was real." He muttered and Naruto chuckled.

"Nah shit sherlock." Naruto said and coughed. "Sorry... you have... to see this..."

Before both Sakura and Kiba could speak Naruto had passed out and with a puff of smoke, unspeakable scars appeared on Naruto's body.

Sakura gasped looking at the blood covered scars on Naruto's body. She could barely see them but she could make out words and other scars in different shapes and sizes.

"Quickly! Kiba help me bring him into the tent." Sakura said. Kiba modded and picked Naruto up. He slung his arm around the raven-haired teens neck.
