Freddie and I had watched multiple chick-flicks, and the last thing I remember were my eyes getting heavy. I shifted on the couch, but a heavy arm was slung around my shoulder. I tried to retract myself, and the arm only tightened his grip.

"Noooo," Freddie whined," it's not time to wake up!"

"Freddie, let me go."

"Never!" he cried.

"Freddie, I swear."

I tried to roll off the couch and out of Freddie's grasp, but only ended up pulling him along with me. Freddie feel on top of me then rolled off me about five inches away.

"Hey! I was sleeping," he pouted.

"Yeah, and I was trying to get away from you," I replied.

Freddie stuck his tongue out. "You know you love me."

I laughed at his statement. "Keep telling yourself that." However, I can't deny my cheeks did tint a slight pink.

We got off the floor and I went to check the time. "5:30! You stayed over all night?!"

Freddie walked into the kitchen with me and sat on the counter. "Sorry, it wasn't like I was trying to cuddle with you," he pauses," Though, it's not like I'm regretting it." He smirks.

I punch his arm. "Stop saying stuff like that."

Freddie jumped off the counter. His hand pinched me cheek. "Aww! Is lil' A mad?" he cooed.

I crossed my arms and pouted. "Stop that!"

"See? This is why you're so adorable." He took a step closer to me, and I stepped back one.

"Freddie," I warned.

"Allie," he teased taking another step. I stepped back once again, and it became like a dance. Him stepping closer and me stepping back.

That is until I ran into the counter.

His eyes caught mine, and I tried not to blush. He smiled as his lips flickered down to mine. He cupped my cheek, and I could feel my heart beating out of my chest.

This was wrong.

His head leaned closer to mine. So close that our breath mingled. I wanted to stop this. I didn't want to lead Freddie on, but for some reason I couldn't stop him.

"You are so pretty," he whispers.

Not beautiful? my mind spoke remembering the sweet words Brooks had told me once.

I put my hands on his chest giving him a light push. I looked down feeling embarrassed. "I'm sorry," I whispered.

Freddie stepped back rubbing the back of his neck. "No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. You're hurting, and I didn't respect that." He looked up at me. "My offer still stands, Allie. You don't have to be without a soulmate. Just think about it."

"Freddie, I-"

"Just think about it. See you later." He gives a small wave and leaves me to argue internally.

I did the only thing I knew to do at the moment. The rumbling sound of my car slowly died down as I looked at Faith's house. My hands shook out of nervousness, but Faith was the only person I felt I could talk to.

I pondered if I would be let in. My knee bounced in nervousness.

What if she still hated me?
