Sunday greeted Harry and he found himself exceedingly happy. He didn't have quite a reason, he just felt very content in his life. It was currently at lunch in Hogwarts and everyone- mostly everyone- Harry inquired, was in the great hall. Now that he thought about it, Harry hadn't seen the blonde all day. He had woken up that morning only to find his roommate's bed already done and that he was gone.
Harry had gone to check the library after breakfast to see if he was in there, but alas, Madam Prince said he hadn't stepped foot in the library that entire day.
Harry wasn't going to lie and pretend he wasn't concerned, because really, he was very, very anxious. Harry found himself spending as much time as he could with the Slytherin, despite how surreal it sounded, he quite enjoyed his company.
He wouldn't tell anybody that though.
Harry bit his lip and scanned the great hall once again, his gaze landing on a peculiar Gryffindor. Harry excused himself from Ron and Hermione and quickly made his way to Anthony who was laughing casually to his friends.
The blue-eyed Gryffindor looked up and smiled, "What a pleasure, how may I be of service?"
Harry looked at him funny before dismissing it, "Right, er- have you seen Dr- Malfoy? He was gone by the time I woke up this morning."
'Which was weird,' Harry thought because they had stayed up late last night.
Anthony furrowed his eyebrows as if he was thinking and then said, "Oh! Right, he said something about helping Hagrid today."
Harry almost choked at that statement, "Are- are you sure?"
Anthony nodded, "Yeah."
"And you sure he said he was helping Hagrid?" Harry asked, still in awe.
Anthony raised his eyebrows and nodded again, "Yes, those were his exact words."
"Wow," Harry was unsure, "Um, ok. Well, I'm going to head over there, would you like to join me?" Harry asked.
In all honesty, Harry really didn't want Anthony to tag along, but he told Draco that he'd try and get along for him.
Anthony frowned slightly and nodded towards his friends, "We were planning on finishing up an assignment for ancient runes."
Harry knew it wasn't good, but he couldn't help the feeling of being relieved, "Oh, ok" he said, making his way to turn around.
"But, um, I'll catch up with you guys later. Tell Dray I said hi!"
Harry cringed at the nickname that Anthony had given the blonde. He didn't respond to Anthony and instead continued walking out of the great hall and outside of Hogwarts. Harry smiled, breathing in the fresh, crisp air. He headed towards Hagrid's hut with his smile never leaving his face.
Harry couldn't help but return the "Hello's" to several people that passed by. He finally reached the hut and knocked on the door.
"Just a Minute!" Harry Heard the all but too familiar voice of Hagrid boom behind the door.
A couple of seconds later the door opened to reveal the half-giant who seemed to light up as soon as he saw Harry.
"'Ello Harry." Hagrid greeted.
"Hello, Hagrid. Good morning, may I come in?" Harry asked politely.
"Yes, of course." Hagrid said moving aside to invite the boy who lived in.
Harry walked into the circular hut that he had grown to love. He sat down on one of his chairs and took in his surroundings. Nothing much had changed after the war. The hut was exactly how he remembered it. With this in mind, Harry smiled to himself.
