A Moonlit Love (Bakugou X Reader X Kirishima)

The Haunting

3rd person POV

The blonde haired boy Bakugou clutches the limp girl tightly, his classmates Kirishima and Todoroki rushing over to check on the black haired girl. 

"Come on Kayda! Please wake up." Kirishima grunts with urgency, gently shaking the girl's shoulder as the police from a nearby precinct arrive on scene, approaching the group of students with pro heroes hot on their heels. 

"She's ice cold, if she stays at that temperature much longer she can get hypothermia." Todoroki informs his classmates, moving a bit closer and using the heat from his left side to begin warming her up. Kirishima and Bakugou watch her calm looking face, both feeling guilty about not being able to help her and not noticing how weak she was. Kirishima holds onto her slowly warming hand, mentally cursing himself for not realizing, but she had been fine in the Collapse Zone. It was only once she was here and the figure appeared that she began to grow weak. Maybe it was due to her quirk… kind of like Midoriya her drawback for using it that much may cause her to pass out.

Bakugou's mind is on the same path, his teeth gritting as he looks down at her still body, watching as the color slowly returns only to show bruises and cuts that begin bleeding in the warmth. He looks up at the pros as he holds her, cursing them for not getting her to the injured very quick. Not only was Damn Deku hurt again, but the girl he didn't get angry with was also injured. In a moment a tall man with black hair rushes over, urgency in every part of his body. 

"There are injured students…. Kayda." He gasps, coming over to the boys and gently touching her now long hair. "Boys… thank you for taking care of my niece but I will need statements from all of you on what happened." He smiles slightly, the boys jaws dropping at the police officer's words. Niece? Well that's an unexpected surprise for the end to an unexpected event. 

The pro heroes jump into action, quickly taking Kayda-chan and Deku to the nurses office to be looked at and healed by the school nurse. The villains are quickly rounded up and apprehended, the students writing out detailed official statements for police to use during prosecution of the apprehended villains. News crews flew over the area and a few were let onto campus in order to get coverage, right as the students, including two injured ones, were escorted out and back to the main school campus. 

The hours and classes pass by, Kirishima and Bakugou both bothered by a particular seat, that was currently empty. Kayda-chan was quiet and calm while at school, her presence a constant spot of happiness and contentment in the classroom. Kirishima copies down his notes for her in English, not wanting his dear classmate to fall too far behind due to her injuries. Both boys try to distract themselves from thinking about their injured classmates. After they are dismissed both boys head up to the Nurses office, the lead detective just leaving the room.

"Hey there boys, here to see Kayda?" He asked, eyes twinkling as he looks over the two misfit looking boys. They nod and Tsukauchi smiles wider, gently patting their shoulders before departing, leaving the boys alone in the hallway. Kirishima and Bakugou look at one another before sliding open the door to the nurses office, Recovery Girl turns and smiles, taking the candy bowl from her desk.

"Hi boys. What can I do for you?" She asks sweetly, using her syringe like cane to assist her in getting to the door. Kirishima smiles and blushes softly, rubbing the back of his neck, both boys taking a piece of candy from the bowl.

"We're here to see how Kayda is doing, she looked pretty beat up and wasn't in classes…" Kirishima trails off as he and Bakugou follow the lady to a curtained off bed, she nods and pulls open the curtain to reveal Kayda laying completely still, only the rise and fall of her chest signalling she was alive. 

"Here she is boys, she had lots of internal bleeding from her quirk's drawback, All-Might and Tsukauchi told me about it while he and young Midoriya were here. She'll be fine, but needs a lot of rest." She smiles before walking back over to her desk and pulling out some files, taking some notes so we can visit with our friend. Bakugou clenches his jaw, a pained and torn expression filling his face.
