A Moonlit Love (Bakugou X Reader X Kirishima)

Hero

    We are dismissed from class and are sent off with our hero costumes, since we begin our internships with proagencies tomorrow. My phone buzzes with a text from an unknown sender, I read it while on the train home and grin.

    “Hey Kayda, it’s Yumi from the Tokyo Security Agency. I just wanted to remind you to bring normal clothes along with your hero costume, and your toiletries. Be sure to pack light as our clients will be going from hotel room to hotel room throughout the week. We have to stay with them 24/7, due to how high profile and usually targeted they are. I will meet you at the Tokyo train station at 10:30 PM.” I exit at my stop and quickly run home, already having informed my aunt of the details of my internship. I give her and Uncle Kai a hug and kiss on the cheek, before heading into my room and quickly packing.

    “You have to be at the Tokyo station by 10:30 right? You better hurry, I packed you some food to take with you.” My Aunt Kora hands me a neatly packed bento box and shoos me out of the door, both her and Uncle Kai waving goodbye and wishing me luck. I make it to the main train station and on my train to Tokyo just in time, the ride should take a few hours, so I put in headphones and begin playing some of my favorite K-Pop songs to help the time pass by quicker. I get a ton of stares and pointing from other passengers on the train, seeing my UA uniform and talking about my performance at the sports festival. I simply turn up my music a bit, downing them out until two little kids come up to me and smile. I take out a headphone and smile back at them, waving a bit as they both pile onto the seat next to me. 

    “Wow miss! Are you really the girl from UA that fought in the sports festival? I want to be a hero and go to UA just like you!”They both exclaim, looking in awe as I nod and smile brightly, smoothing out my jacket and moving over a bit so the two little ones have room to sit next to me.

    “Yup, that was me! So you two want to go to UA? Do you know your quirks yet, and who’s your favorite pro hero?” I ask, my green eyes meeting the children’s shining brown eyes. They both grin and nod, shuffling to face me and chatter.

    “I can move rocks! It makes playing in the mud and the forest so much more fun!” The boy with brown and green hair pipes up, raising a fist into the air and grinning, reminding me of both Gwyn and Kirishima. I giggle and gently tustle his hair, enjoying how bright and enthusiastic the child is.

    “And I can make my drawings come alive! It’s really fun, especially when I play pretend!” The little girl with light blue hair smiles, pulling out a notebook and showing me some of the drawings and pictures she had drawn. I giggle and tustle her hair softly, both of the children leaning into my touch.

    “Those are really awesome quirks to have! If you want to get into UA, you should try to learn how to move bigger rocks and more earth. That way you can make yourself and your quirk stronger, but don’t over do it, even the smallest quirks can have drawbacks.” I tell the boy, he nods and looks at me with determination shining in his eyes, just like when Gwyn first began training his quirk. “And I think you should keep drawing, try and make them look more realistic and look into art classes, find out how things are made so if you draw it you can bring the actual object to life.” The girl nods and clenches a fist close to her chest, pulling her notebook in tight.

    “Thank you lady! You really are so awesome!” The kids say before running off at their parent’s calls, they wave bye to me and I wave back, giving the parents a nod before putting my headphones back in and relaxing in my seat. The train arrives at the Tokyo station and I step onto the platform, being greeted by a petite woman wearing a sleek looking skirt suit. 

    “Hello you’re Kayda right? The intern from UA, I’m Yumi from the Tokyo Security Agency. It’s nice to meet you, let’s get going. You can get changed in the car so we are inconspicuous when we get to their airport, our clients are landing in 45 minutes.” Yumi informs me with a smile, gently guiding to the black SUV waiting outside for us. We enter, chatting a bit about my quirk and how I am enjoying UA so far. I dig in my bag and pull out an oversized grey sweater, a lavender beanie and matching scarf, quickly stripping off my shirt and skirt before putting these items on.
