and god called the light day

Kai asked a few questions about what was going on to which Dabi gave unreliable answers. The angel and the demon remained at the estate until Kota's birthday. The two didn't want to make his least favorite day even worse by suddenly disappearing. In any case, the day after, the angel and the demon searched for the orphanage of where this whole thing started.

"I'm surprised it took us this long to find it again," Dabi muttered, closing the door to his car. "I thought angels had perfect memory."

"Well, in most cases, we do, but I wonder if there is a demon spell or something keeping us away from here." Izuku took one step through the fence before Dabi shoved him onto the ground. A gunshot was heard and Dabi winced.

"Angel, we are going to have to be careful," he warned, not realizing he was pinning his lovely angel friend to the ground and their faces were incredibly close. Izuku still hadn't gotten over fantasizing about Dabi kissing him like he kissed Kai... so it was safe to assume this angel was quite bothered.

"Dabi?"

"What?"

"Do demons bleed purple?" Izuku looked at his hand covered in a purple something or other.

"Huh?"

"Look," he shifted as best as he could to show his hand to Dabi.

"No...that's..." Dabi licked it. "It smells like paint. Did they turn this place into a paintball arena?"

"Uhm, Dabi?" Izuku squeaked out, not wanting to offend him.

"What?"

"Do you think you could...get off of me now?" he requested as kindly as possible. Dabi stood up immediately.

"Sorry about that..." he apologized, leading the way inside the (what used to be) and orphanage.

"There should be some papers around here or something to tell us where that family you helped went." He looked around, reverting back to his scarred-skin and singed hair.

"You know," Izuku had been thinking about this for a while but it just dawned on him now. There must be a reason for why he didn't hate Dabi. Aside from the fact that he was an angel and couldn't find it within himself to hate a single creature, he realized another clue to his fascination. "You're actually quite nice."

Dabi paused. He froze for a brief second and turned on his heel. He grabbed the collar of Izuku's shirt and picked him up off the ground, slamming him into the wall. His face too close for comfort and Izuku was certain he felt some sort of hip thrust against his own. He blinked, wondering if he imagined it, as Dabi's expression slowly but surely got more and more pissed off. "I'm not niccce," he hissed. "I'm a demon. One of the worssst. I've done terrible things, angel, things that would make you not want to asssociate with me anymore. Don't think for one sssecond that I'm niccce," his tongue flicked out, grazing Izuku's lips.

I'm not nice either. Izuku's mind began to wander through a sequence of events. I've been pretending to be pure for a while now. He admitted to himself. I'm not nice. Izuku grabbed the base of Dabi's head and pushed him forward the last little step of the way. He shoved his tongue into Dabi's mouth just as he'd seen the demon to do Kai and violently kissed him even though he was the one against the wall. He could feel the small flames appear on Dabi's skin, damaging his clothes, but he didn't care. The angrier Dabi got the more Izuku wanted to make him mad. Just what would he do if he finally snapped? There were so many things that could happen. Would his rage finally make him admit his feelings outright? Acting upon impulses? Izuku wanted to see. The two of them reacting against each other in the middle of a hallway where any human could enter at any point. Izuku's face flushed more with each movement Dabi made and the-

"Sorry to ruin your intimate moment," a woman stepped into the hallway. Dabi turned his head but didn't release his grasp on Izuku's shirt. Izuku was staring at him blankly, with a small smirk on his lips, as his mind was still fantasizing about terribly impure things. He would understand, later, why Lust was one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Dabi didn't say anything, he just waited for her to continue. "Is there a reason you're here?" she asked finally, unable to avoid staring at how close these two males were. Dabi dropped Izuku back onto the ground, snapping him out his fantasy.

"Did you know uh..." Dabi struggled to remember the names of those humans.

"Shota and Emi Aizawa?" Izuku cleared his throat and finally spoke. He tried his best to ignore his continuing fantasy.

"Oh, those two? Yeah, they moved to the countryside a while back. Do you need them for something?"

"Do you have their address? We'd like to reconnect with them," Dabi smiled, as warm as he could muster with his face looking like this. The girl looked terrified. She nodded and nearly ran away, coming back as quickly as she could with an address.

"Thank you very much," Dabi politely nodded and turned to go back to his car. Izuku followed behind, still not over his whole fantasy. As soon as the two returned to the car, Dabi turned to look at him.

"Are you okay? I know I was a bit rough but I didn't expect you to react like this," he gestured to Izuku. The angel still had a blank look on his face as if he'd withdrawn into himself. Dabi didn't know if he was terrified of him now. He wasn't revealing any sort of clues.

"Rough?" Izuku's mind wandered, imagining a different scene now. He shook his head. "I'm..." he paused, unable to lie and say that he was fine when he wasn't entirely. What should he say? 'Oh yes, I was just fantasizing about how beautifully sexy you are when you pushed me up against that wall and I would love it if you could continue your roughness. Please torture me with your flames, Daddy.'? No. Never.

"Hey," Dabi reached over and grabbed Izuku's chin. He turned his head to look him in the eyes. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to but...don't look so lost. You're worrying me."

"I apologize for calling you nice. You're a ruthless incubus!" Izuku grabbed the sides of his face, slapping his cheeks to keep his mind under control.

"Where did that come from?" Dabi raised an eyebrow and started the car. He turned his attention to the road and tried to remember where he'd heard this address before so he could drive there. At least they had hope for figuring out where the antichrist was. The end of the world was upon them...but there was some light in the darkness.
