WATCHING A "STAGE 1"

"I know what I saw!"

I was literally screaming at the principal because she had chosen not to believe me. Chanita and Sia had believed me of course, they had heard the loud growls and were about getting to me when I appeared panting.

"You need to calm down dear" the principal said while putting her hand on my right shoulder.

"You should've been in detention for breaking one of the school's rules but we're giving you this" the principal said trying to change the topic.

I heaved a heavy sigh of frustration before I stepped out of her office.

I walked round the corner slowly while trying to get reasons why the principal didn't believe me. Then I heard cheers from students and I could tell it was of euphoria. I walked where they were, maybe I could have fun too and forget the mysteries in my head.

As I got to where warm, sweaty bodies were and was about to go through the pandemonium to get a better view of what was going on, I saw an arm reach out and drag me in, it was Chanita.

"What did the Principal say?" She asked curiously

"I don't see any visible reason but she didn't believe me, she thought it was a fantasy made up by us" I replied with a deep frown

"That's really bad, we will talk about it later, we're up next" she said loudly so I could get her amidst the thick noise then pointing at the stage.

I turned to watch the ongoing brawl and I understood why everyone was going crazy. A tall, well built Scandinavian with tons of tattoos had the ability to generate, bend, shift, focus, scatter and/or generally manipulate light to various degrees and effects. His partner, no one more than a random teenager could control negative energy, the ability to control negative emotions or cause them in other people.
And the duo they were facing were evenly matched, a short girl with thick, green hair was charging towards and as she got close, I saw greenish black venom leave her hand sharply and land on the elbow of the random guy. Just as the random guy was about to trail off the arena that was designated with bright, white lines, his partner, the Scandinavian, tugged him back and all of a sudden, a huge blast of neon light left his hands and hit Venom girl and she was almost losing, on the very verge. Her partner, could duplicate items and he was soon using two long, brown wooden sticks to fight and Dodge, he was really skillful. Just as the Scandinavian released a long streak of light his way, the random guy made the item duplicator scream in pain with his powers and as the light hit him, he slid off the designation area and his team got disqualified.
