Chanita had teleported us all- me, Mr. Fred, the mutant with hideous scales whose name I later realized was Sean, Mrs. Beethoven our principal, and Mr. Kendal our history teacher to the grounds, close to the boundary where Sia's Bangles had fallen, on the principal's command.
I had gotten used to teleportation and I felt alright. Mrs. Beethoven started to move her hands in a random manner and gradually, the grounds faded and the place became nothing more than interlocked bricks on one side and green, beautiful grasses on the other.
Then, an ancient, stone made staircase appeared. Chanita was on my left and Sean was on my right and we all cautiously went to see where it led to but we couldn't cause it was pitch black.
With my fingers on the rough walls of the staircase, I got down the stairs safely and the sight below was none to be found anywhere else in the world.
There was a large, almost unending vast land of green grasses with scents that were extremely welcoming and charming. Pretty, tiny butterflies flew about in a carefree manner and gave a sense of tranquility and the golden sun was mild, warm and skin soothing.
"My home!"
The voice in me said and I could sense joy in her voice, I couldn't help but be happy too after all that had happened in the last 12 hours, it was an awesome feeling to make someone glad.We explored the place a little and it was noon in no time.
"So, this is where y'all will receive intense training from Mr. Kendal. Words mustn't get out or pandemonium will break loose among the other students, darkness is coming and we're the light but no one must know till the time comes". Mrs. Beethoven said.
"We'll try getting a few more students to join us but in the meantime, I and Mrs. Beethoven have to go to keep the school running well", Mr. Fred added.
