TEAM

It was our second day here in the training arena but it felt like we've been here for months. With the help of my suit and the under the eagle eyed tutelage of Mr. Kendal, I had gotten myself the best assistant one could ever need, Shalom. And other than that, I had known and was able to use any of my powers (the ability to control EVERY form of Force fields) as I pleased and to the degree I wanted to. I could fly faster and way higher, I could also stay in the air much longer and my endurance had improved greatly too.

Mr. Kendal said he had to test our readiness so he grouped us in threes. My team mates were Veny and Drake and team A consisted of Chanita, Jason and Brie.

As Mr. Kendal signalled the start of the event, I imagined my suit on and in no time, different parts of my suit began sticking to my body.
As soon as the mask came on, I felt strength and peace together.

I looked at Veny on my left then Drake on my right and nodded.
Drake started by running at the speed of a speeding car, to meet our opponents. Veny was soon out of sight too then I shot myself up into the air with a rocket-like force.

I landed back on the ground with such a force that the Earth beneath my feet cracked feet.

As I was about standing up from the one-kneel-down position I had landed on, Jason shot a large beam of white light my way and I barely got my shield up in time.
The force of the light hit me and sent me backwards and I hit the rough earth hard but I all I had was a cut on my lips from the blast because of the nanoseconds the shield had lasted.

I saw him run towards me and I did a Chinese get up out of harm's way before I got hurt and was eliminated.
He tried kicking the back of my head with his legs but I used my right forearm to hit his leg back to the ground with a force that almost made him loose his balance. I took hold of the golden second and I threw my entire weight into a punch from my left hand that sent him sprawling to the ground.

Before he could get up, I sent a small charge of electricity that was going to keep him down for sometime. Besides, I already eliminated him.
As I turned back, I started running to where the voices of the others could be heard. When I got there, all I heard were painful groans from everyone. They had all been eliminated... All except Brie

I didn't know what to make out of it, I was scared of injuring her after killing her twin brother just  the day before.

She looked at me showing her face showing no emotions. Her white hair was very long and straight and her eyes were white too.
Within a split second, she sent herself upwards with the support of a huge mount of ice and I took to the air too. When I got to the same elevated position she was on, she sent huge balls of stone-hard ice but I dodged them all.
She tried freezing me too but I leaped out of the way. When we both got back to land, I could have easily defeated her because she was exhausted already but I just couldn't, I ran towards her if only just to push her to the ground and get her eliminated but I tripped and fell as I slid on an icy slippery surface that was nothing but her little trap for me. Before I could get up, there were ice handcuffs pinning me down.

My team lost!
