It was a very long walk from the principal's office to the students' hostel. We passed through silent hallways and when we were finally out, the breeze seemed comforting.

We walked quietly trying not to alarm anyone as we stepped on the brown, Autumn leaves that gave way under our weight.

"So,what can you do?"
Chanita asked when we had walked a few metres in the open air, she was really welcoming and I was sure she was a friend I was going to keep.

"Uh, I can sing a little, that's all. I once tried dancing but it's not my thing"

"No, no, I mean your super power" she said stopping on her tracks and looking serious

"Super power you said?" I asked with a dried up throat

"Don't you think you have one?" She asked caringly

I didn't know how I should've responded so, I just nodded in affirmation. I had no idea there was anything like super power in real life, of course, I had read about them in comics and watched a few movies but I didn't think it was real, not for a split second.

"So, that should be our objective tomorrow baby girl, were gonna find out what you're capable of"
She said leaving no room for questions or oppositions.

"So, what can you do, wanna show me?"
I asked deciding to play along on what I felt was a little prank from her.

"Oh, okay" she said.
She grabbed my, red, traveling bag and my left hand then snap! It was like my entire body was compressed into an ant hole then pop! It was forced out again but I was in another place.

"You... You've got teleportation? Or... Or did you carry out a pr...ank on me?"
I said looking around and trying to pick up the information my new environment could allow.

"It's no prank baby girl"
She said feigning the Irish accent with a little smile on her face.

"You're in a completely new world where you'll be forced to change your perception of life. Everyone in this school has super powers and so do you. Super powers exist, I have one and so do you"
She added in a matter-of-fact voice before she walked to one corner of the normal sized room for two to make a coffee for herself.
