The rain was beginning to cease gradually but it didn't matter much, Mrs. Beethoven, Mr. Fred, Sia, Sean and a few other students had died fighting for our future as mutants and that of the world.
The whole world watched us as we lay the heroes to rest. The president was around too, it turned out he was threatened into supporting evil.
Chanita was still at the hospital and was recovering fast and Brie had become a good friend. I couldn't wait till Chanita was back and maybe Brie could fill in the large vacuum Sia had left of being the third musketeer.
My whole life had changed, my perception, who I was and who I was to be. Shalom had become a constant friend and even my Aunt, Alina and my cousin had come for the burial. It was a step worth taking on the path of forgiveness for me and a second chance for them.
As I dropped a flower on Mrs. Beethoven's grave, I sighed in remembrance of all my memories of her. And if only for her sake and for that of everyone that had lost their lives in the dark era, I would stand tall and ever ready to keep this world peaceful but in the meantime, I had to find out what happened to my parents the day they we were to return from Nigeria.
