The sun was barely out and the weather was extremely chilly. The sky was dark too and there was no sign of life anywhere in the outside world.
I felt free because there was no one anywhere and even if people saw me, they didn't recognize me of course.
I bent my knee a little, stretched out two hands and flew into the air. The higher I went, the colder the air became so I stopped going higher and headed to the White House. After about 10 minutes of flying non-stop, I saw the high rising building. The American flag had been shredded, there were red unending stains of red that dripped off the wall in a sickening rhythm. There was no one anywhere too and I was having second thoughts about the headquarters being here, at the White House.
I cautiously landed and I was about to go and hide in the well trimmed bush not too far away before a stone landed at my front.
I stood still, I was shocked and my heart began extremely fast. Then I saw a familiar face poke out of the bush and wave to me, it was Chanita. I heaved a heavy sigh of relief and scampered to where she was.
"We're all here, I teleported everyone here but you were no where to be found, we had been waiting for you" Chanita said in whispers.
"I thought the plan was for everyone to get here at their pace so as not to attract attention"
"Yeah... It was until we realized the city had surprisingly gone empty"
"Why didn't Mr. Kendal tell me then?"
"I don't know. When're we going in?"
"No time for ceremonies, where are the others?"
Chanita teleported and in three seconds, she was back with everyone.
"Let's do this!" Shalom told me as we headed for the gate in one accord.
