Lilith's Twin

Sanctuary

Liz finds the nearest fast travel and goes to Sanctuary. She spawns in and shakes off after the travel and wanders the dry dusty climate of Pandora, making her way to Sanctuary. 'I wonder where Axton is? Also what is my girl Maya doing,' she thinks to herself. Liz walks for what felt like hours then her world goes black to what seemed to be a guys hand around her. She screams and bashes him with her elbow and sweeps his leg from under him and whips around to see who it was. She saw that it was Axton. Axton chuckles holding his chest from the impact of her elbow, "after all that time and this is what I get." Liz laughs, "I'm so sorry. I didn't know it was you. Besides you know not to do that to me. You're lucky I didn't set you on fire." Axton gets up and beats the dust off of him and opens his arms, "can I get a hug?" Liz smirks, "I don't know, can you?" Axton gives a pouty face, "please?" Liz smiles and walks into his hug. He squeezes her tightly, "I've missed you so much. Why are you back?" Liz wraps her arms around his neck, "I need to tell Lilith something important. I'm on my way to Sanctuary now." Axton lets go, "I guess you don't have time for some old things. After Sanctuary maybe we can go on a catch up ride?" Liz steps back to her normal position, "sure. Let's see how things go. Maybe at sundown, or something." Axton gives his charming smile, "sounds good. Just like old times, but now with a big time Helios worker." Liz rolls her eyes, "don't even say that." Axton laughs and Liz puzzles, "hey where's Maya?" Liz suddenly hears a woman's voice behind her, "do you mean me?" Liz turns around and sees Maya, "oh my god! I've missed you!" Maya opens her arms and Liz runs into them. Maya giggles, "okay easy there." Liz pushes away, "we can also catch up later, but I'm gonna go and do my work. See you guys later." Liz walks away a bit happier she met up with them. A few more minutes of walking she makes it to Sanctuary and uses the buzzer, "hello this is your loving twin." Lilith's voice crosses, "not so much loving, but you have to promise, no funny business." Liz chuckles, "I'm offended. I would never. Well maybe... just kidding, I only want to tell you the information." Lilith grunts and opens the sanctuary doors. Liz gasps at the sight and slowly looks around, "o m g. This place is fantastic." Liz's eyes meet Lilith's and Lilith smiles, "welcome to Sanctuary. Now let's go and talk in Roland and I's house." Liz nods and follows as the sanctuary doors close, slowly cutting off the outside. Liz follows Lilith to the very back where Lilith's and Roland's house is. Lilith types in the code and the door opens. Liz looks around and smirks, "you should clean this place." Lilith rolls her eyes and ignores her. Liz follows her up the stairs and they stop at a table with maps on it with Roland on the other side. Roland looks up and Liz smiles to him and bows, "hello Lilith's boyfriend long time no see." Lilith rolls her eyes again and scoffs, "so what's the news?" Liz giggles, "what, you don't want to see me first? It's been a while." Liz sees the faces of irritation on them and sits on the couch, "okay...geez. The information I have is that Jack sent me down here to gather intel on y'all." Roland rushes over and tries to hold her down, but Liz gets up before he does this, "wait... but I'm not with him, nor against him." Roland raises an eyebrow in confusion and Lilith stares at her, puzzled as well. Liz smiles, "he wants y'all dead and steal Lilith's powers." Lilith gives a weird look, "so what do you mean you're not with him, or against him?" Liz gives a straight face, "I'm going to help you out and capture him with you guys then take Helios and Hyperion over as my own." Roland clears his throat, "how are we going to catch him?" Liz smirks, "the dude likes me. Meaning he'll do anything for time with me. How about I make a fake date with him and then y'all capture him? Easy as that." Lilith looks to Roland, "that is a good plan," then looks back to Liz, "what about fighting the rest of Helios?" Liz grins, "another reason I went there. I know the place and the codes. I can give you the whole tour top to bottom. See I'm not that evil." Lilith groans, "mhm... also how did you get all this information?" Liz shrugs, "you don't want to know." Lilith gives a shocked look and turns to Roland, "well then. I guess me and Roland will plot fight routes for the crimson raiders and you can give us a call on the echo when you're ready to capture him." Liz nods and heads out the door and down the stairs to the outside. Liz walks out and sees the Sanctuary doors open and Axton and Maya carry in a limp Zero. Liz watches Axton hand Zero to Maya and she rushes to Zed's. Liz runs over to Axton to see what's the matter. Liz looks at him with sad eyes, "what's wrong?" Axton slings his arms around her, "the fucking bandits got him." Liz shushes him, holds him, and strokes his hair, "don't worry he'll be fine. Zed will fix him up." Axton pats Liz's back and kisses her on the cheek, "I'm sorry Liz, but I think our time out will have to wait. I'm going to notify Roland and Lilith." Liz nods, "okay. I'm going to check on Maya. Maybe me and her can see Moxxi for some drinks and you can join if you want." Axton nods and walks away. Liz stops him, "hey and tell the others. We can all go for a stiff drink." Axton gives a slight smile and walks toward the back to Roland and Lilith's place. Liz walks her way to Zed's. She opens the door and sees Zed patching up a hurt Zero. Zed looks up and has from what she can tell a happy expression, "Liz welcome back, evil Knievel." Liz smiles, "that is me. Being evil." Liz turns to see Maya, "how are you?" Maya looks at her, "fine." Liz looks to Zero, "feel better soon soldier." Zero nods and Liz scans around the room, "I'm grabbing drinks from Moxxi's y'all coming?" Zero shakes his head and Maya turns her head to Zero, "you good." Zero shakes his head yes to her and Maya turns and walks out of Zed's with Liz in tow. Liz and Maya arrive at Moxxi's and sit at the bar. Moxxi turns to them, "what'll it be sugars?" Liz smiles, "I'll just take a beer." Moxxi nods then looks to Maya, "and you sweetie?" Maya thinks for a bit then replies, "same thing." Moxxi smiles and turns to get the beers. Maya spins her stool to look at Liz, "so what's your tale of Helios? Also how are you and Axton? What's your plans now you're back? Spill everything girl." Liz laughs, "okay...okay let's start with my plans..." Liz gets cut off by Moxxi serving the beers. When Moxxi turns back around Liz continues, "my plan is to set up a trap for Jack and capture him. The dude is obsessed with me. I'm gonna set him up for a fake date and get an ambush on him. Then we'll travel to Helios and clean out the army. After Jack is captured and I enslave him I'm taking over Helios." Maya sips her beer and puzzles, "what about Axton? I thought y'all were going well." Liz shrugs and takes a big sip of beer, "I don't know I feel like we definitely still have a spark and never lost it, but we aren't together. Maya I don't even know what love is." Maya sighs, "Liz love is when you care for someone a lot, you look out for them, you can't stop thinking about them when y'all are apart. Love is just when you like to be around them and miss them when they are gone. Axton loves you a lot." Liz huffs, "I can't see why. I'm evil and he knows I'm like that." Maya smiles, "he may love you for that. I can tell that he loves you. You just have to be with him and I notice how you are around him. You'll learn love." Liz smirks, "uh huh. Well on the other hand my time at Helios was eh. In order to get the information I had to sleep with Jack. Anyways Junior is up there and I know he's safe because anyone knows if they lay at least one finger on Junior they will be turned into food for Junior." Maya shows a shocked expression and takes another swig of beer, "okay..." Axton then walks in and goes up to Liz and kisses her on her head, "did I miss anything?" Maya smirks, "not really, just talking." Axton sits beside Liz and smiles, "well let's celebrate Liz's return and drink. Moxxi serve up some shots." Moxxi turns to make them, "sure thing sugar." They all drink the night away and get completely wasted. Liz groggily gets up from her seat and holds onto Axton for leverage and support. Axton keeps a tight hold on Liz and takes her out of the bar. Axton leans her into the wall and plants kisses her her neck, "I've missed you so fucking much. It's been so hard without you." Liz moans and nods at his words. Axton leans and kisses her lips. He picks her up by her waist and carries her to a house and lays her down on a mattress still kissing her. Liz breaks away, "I've missed you too." Axton smiles and continues.

Note: longer chapter I know. Actually I had other plans for this chapter, but changed them and so now this happened instead. I like it and I'm happy with the story so far. It's coming along great.
