Its all my fault

Liz puts Junior down and tells him to stay and  runs over to them, "what in the world happened? You know what, get him to Dr. Zed and get him patched up." Axton drags him away to Zed and Liz quickly turns to Lilith, "don't worry he'll be okay. He's a soldier." Liz then turns to Maya, "comfort her and I'll handle Jack." Maya nods and starts comforting Lilith. Brick grunts, "are we killing him now?" Liz sighs, "I don't even know. Let's get him locked up. I know... let's take him to Moxxi's she'll most likely have a cell." Liz leads Brick to Moxxi's and runs inside to Moxxi, "Moxxi do you have a cell?" Moxxi turns around sort of confused, "what sugar?" Liz huffs, "I need a cell to lock someone in, please." Moxxi giggles, "I have one. Follow me." Brick and Liz follow Moxxi into her back room and Moxxi shows them a cage and Brick throws Jack into it, knocking him out and Moxxi slams it shut. Moxxi turns to Liz, "when are y'all going to kill em?" Liz whines, "I don't know if we even are. I jus-Roland's injury is all my fault. I don't want Jack dead I want to torture him." Liz slams onto the ground and starts to break down, "it's all my fucking fault." Moxxi whispers to Brick, "you may want to go get Axton he may be able to help." Brick nods and walks out to go get Axton.

Axton just finished getting Roland to Zed. He thinks to himself, 'I know Liz blames herself. I need to check on her.' Axton walks out and sees Brick, "I thought you were with Liz?" Brick grunts, "she's having a breakdown in the back of Moxxi's. Moxxi told me to come get you." Axton pushes past him and rushes to Moxxi's and into the back. He sees Jack knocked out in a cage and Moxxi trying to comfort Liz who's not yet crying, but blaming herself for it. Moxxi looks at Axton with sympathetic eyes, "she's blaming herself. I'll leave you two alone." Moxxi exits the room and Axton goes over to Liz who's shakily trying to stand, "Liz, its not your fault." Liz walks over into his hug and they fall back to the ground. Axton clenches her tightly as Liz starts to cry at his touch, "I didn't want him dead. He shot Roland and it's all my fault. I told y'all not to kill him and this happened." Axton kisses the top of her head and rubs her back and the back of her head, "guess what. You have the best option because Roland will survive and you're going to torture Jack and take his company." Liz's crying nearly cuts off, "y-you know what I said earlier. I need to tell you that...I love you. I love you and Maya and Lilith. You guys are my family and friends. You've taught me how to love and I thank you. When I was at Helios I missed you guys so much and I realized when I got back what love was. Where you miss them when you're apart and care for them with every part of you. You make sacrifices and you take risks for them. You understand them and their decisions. I love you." Axton is shocked by this and hesitates, "w-wow I didn't expect that. I love you too Liz and I always will." Liz looks up at him with red puffy eyes with a bit of remaining tears. Liz kisses him and he breaks away with a smile, "you feel better?" Liz slowly nods and Axton helps stand her up and walks her to his house and lays her down on the bed, "I'm going to get Junior and get Lilith so she can talk to you." Liz lays there and watches him leave. Axton goes to the gate where sure enough Junior was waiting and sleeping. Axton wakes it up and carries it with him to find Lilith and talk to her. He walks into Zed's and sees an unconscious Roland and Lilith leaning over him, "I'm sorry to break this Lilith, but Liz needs you." Lilith gives him a puzzled look, "why?" Axton sighs, "she's blaming herself and having a complete breakdown and she even said that she loved me and you and Maya and well I don't know. I figured you could tell her it's not her fault." Lilith widens her eyes, "take me to her." Axton quickly takes her to his house with Liz close to sleep. Axton sets Junior beside her and Lilith rushes over to her, "none of this is your fault. I don't blame you. As long as you promise me that you'll torture Jack I'm all for it."

Liz reaches for Junior and pulls him closer and sits up with it in her arms, "it feels like it." Axton leaves and gives them their privacy. Lilith smiles and takes her face into her hands, "don't blame yourself. You did what you thought was okay. It's Jack's fault not yours, but the main thing is that Jack is captured. I know Roland he'll be fine." Liz gives a tiny smile, "a bad thing did happen." Lilith gives a confused look, "what?" Liz smiles, "if I cry my powers get cut off for a whole day." Lilith huffs, "really?" Liz nods, "I'm without powers till tomorrow night." Lilith calls Axton and he runs in, "what's wrong?" Liz is laughing something about thats what she gets. Axton looks at Lilith, "what's she talking about?" Lilith sighs, "her powers are cut off til tomorrow because with her powers if she cries then her powers get cut off for a day and we have to be careful because if she keeps crying she could loose them forever." Axton goes over to Liz, "you need to go to sleep you've had a long day." Liz smiles, "okay. That's what I get for getting Roland hurt." Axton motions for Lilith to go and he's got this. Axton lays down behind Liz, watching the sleeping Junior. Axton plants a kiss on her neck and smiles, "at least we have our Junior back. Now just sleep and wait to get your powers back tomorrow night." Axton cuddles her and strokes her hair, "I love you so much." Liz drifts into sleep and Axton does too.

Note: well her powers are gone. She'll get em back. Anyways I'm not gonna have Roland die because I don't want that.
